Yes but Wilson won’t win 55% of the draws, won’t make our PK unit potentially top 15 in the league, and will contribute just as much points. Sobotka will smash Kadri’s nose clean into his face. That’s good enough for me. - Pegullaville
I am sure he is terrified.

Whether he is or not he’ll have to get used to a shutdown role. And he’ll have to answer to anyone who takes liberties on their best players. Who else will do it ? Johnsson, kapenen, brown, Marner, Matthews won’t. Marleau is one punch in the face away from a nursing home. Nylander is as soft as his brother but at least he can actually play. |

You have to be a Drury hater..
that hit was dirty AF he could have easily held up on the hit but he went Full force even when the Puck was gone - gerbe75pts
He saw Drury in a vulnerable position and decided to lower the boom, which he's done his entire career.
The point of hitting was originally meant to be separating the man from the puck, but it's morphed into football on ice as a means to wear down the other teams best players. That has never made sense to me, but I always prefer to see high end skill over WWE on ice. |

I think you were the one who said this: it's a simple fix; you can only hit someone who has the puck. No "finishing a hit" |

That's not simple though, guys will just flip the puck away to draw a penalty. You know they will. You could always leave it up to the discretion of the ref, but the NHL doesn't like to do that anymore. |

Well since only 1 of them (Eichel) could be a 30 goal scorer...
that’s not enough
And who’s the 6th? Berglund?
What do u mean by the defense is the wildcard?
The defense is gonna help get the puck up the ice, which will help the forwards
But we don’t have a defenseman (incl Dahlin) who can score 20 goals
Idk how much of a goal scoring impact they (themselves) will make? - jdfitz77
I think if health
casey, jack, sam, okposo should get 20 goals
same for sheary if he gets top 6 minutes
so then either someone on the 3rd line or the other LW in the top 6 gets 20 goals
if berglund is the 3rd line center and gets 2nd team pp it can happen
same if either baptiste, bailey, nylander, e-rod or olofsson if they get that lw spot on the top 6, and keep it
regarding the D
if they play up tempo, with crisp passing, that is what will lead to the increase goal scoring up front
I do think it's realistic to expect a 50% jump in goals scored for our D, if nothing else by replacing dahlin for falk/gorges in the lineup
I am semi excited for this season |

6 -20 goal scores
Talk about being a homer and Drinking the strawberry unicorn Kool-Aid
The Washington Capitals had (3)-20+
The Tampa Bay Lightning had (6)- 20+ - gerbe75pts
caps and bolts have 40 and 50 goal scorers
we dont even have 30 goal scorers
big difference as our scoring will be more balanced on the top 9 due to lack of super star talent

the d is the wild card - homiedclown
I think we score at plus 60 goals this season.
Whether its 30 more and letting in 30 less
40 and 20.
That's 25 more points |

My dudes,
I didn’t get to see any rockets launched into orbit today, but the only QB that was able to do anything in team drills was Allen. I think he starts game one. He did throw 2 picks, but one of them after KB bobbled it up in the air.
Other than that, Shady is awesome. Me and my bro watched him and Allen practice this weird motion play against air without ball on sideline. Then ran it first play 11 on 11. Shady went all Shady and weaved his way across the other side of the field for a TD. Tre White is so skinny. Can’t believe he is as tough as he is. He was on fleek. Lockdown.
Hoping for the best - Hatboro_Swords
Great report 3er
Heard peterman was the only qb that looked good yesterday.
Cant wait until the season

Those people are what I would call "right"
Sobotka, Risto, McCabe, Bailey, Bogo, Okposo
All of those guys throw down. That's plenty - jcragcrumple
Really scary group there.
Bogo and McCabe are actually sorta good fighters.
Bogo for sure
Sobotka ?
Risto is not a fighter
Bailey - when did this happen
Okposo- not scary

I like okposo and he does stick up for himself.
But, he is hardly scaring anyone.
I really don't know too much about sobotka other then he plays hard. Finishes checks. Can he fight? |

I wouldn’t say he’s a heavy weight. He has had a few share of fights though. He does play the body extremely well. I remember a game a few years ago he flattened matt Cooke |
