That the league is rife with terrible contracts leveraged by players that had good playoffs. Or one good year. Brown has had one good year out of 4 so far and has been routinely mocked as one of the worst contracts in the league, even after last year.

It has everything to do with it. GMs routinely overpay, by a lot. It's been borne out for years. It's absolute fact at this point.

I realize it's not 1990, but if we make the playoffs, I do not think we are physical enough to compete.
