You can modify any device to only accept the content you want. It's not like schools are out there giving free reign to kids on the internet. Hell, kids have been going on computers at school for a long time. It has just graduated to tablets, which is a natural progression.

What happened to cursive and hand writing and so forth. I understand its part of progression, computers are replacing mcdonalds employees as we speak. I guess im just old school. Im also ignorant to what they have access to, ive never owned a laptop or tablet so i have no clue.

They still do this. My daughter was 8 when she learned to make her first power point presentation. She still does multiplication tables and such........

There's no question the internet offers plenty of learning tools though.

Ppl skills face to face is lost & abilities related to articulating verbally. I recall ppl melting down when calculator batteries died. When ppl face anxieties or breakdowns when dependent on devices says a lot.

So can internet/pc ppl survive or cope without them?

Its commonplace mainstream. Example my nephew i gave him a cel phone & texting & FB was about all he uses it for. I said its a phone & unlimited calling why not call & talk to ppl. Got a blank stare. Ppl are made to be stupid & lazy bcus they probably are.

What about telling time on a non digital clock? One of our contractors was at A&W awhile ago and the young girl behind the till gave him too much change (couldn't tell the difference between a quarter and a nickle) he went back to tell her and give the money back.
