Imagine if it was a report card.
"Mom, Dad, I get it. You're mad that I have all these C's on my report card. But, they're closer to B's actually. And if you consider that I could do way better next semester they're really A's." - Lindenis#1
this doesnt make sense either, school has A+/A/A- same thing with B's and C's. Should we add school grades to prospects now?
EP is an A+
Hughes is an A
Demko is an A-
Dahlen is an A- |

A poll of NHL GM’s stating their own A prospects will always be inflated to most other peoples list. Why not use those lists instead of a writer who sctrunizes it harder?
When an A prospect busts out its laid upon the GM. More fun to give GM more leash & then we hang him 😂😂 |

I would bump DiPietro to a B- and lower Lockwood/Jasek to C-. Also Goldy is more of a B now bordering B- |

Top 3D
Top goalie
Do we have that or projected?
Debatable. Not yet on any of the 3
Possibly in a year or 2.
Support talent?
Better but not good enough
D is weak-achilles heal
Lots of hope placed on our 2nd tier prospects to break out. Potential is top 6-9 |

Imac has always been the team's mouth piece. You can basically invert any statement he makes and pull the truth out of it.
I don't care much for Pratt, but in general I can see the kid and his agent looking at this situation as its unfolded and be like "we're gonna go for now. we'll check back in later." |

Higgins was on the radio the other day and said young players don't generally get involved with team politics . He said they are usually focused on what is best for their careers.
Most reliable sources said it came down to Benning not guaranteeing a spot on Canucks for him. Utica was not on his option list .

I think it is smart for him to go back. Let a few contracts run out and then make the team the following season. Utica would be a good place to develop, but some kids do often feel a little entitled and want to try and skip the AHL. That is why most college kids go back for their D+1. |

You'd think Benning would have figured that out during the pre-draft interviews, unless like Green Hughes didn't have to interview. |

Most highly talented kids want to skip the AHL. They all have a sense of entitlement. |

By some people’s standards, he is one. But everyone loves his talent so the people who would normally lose their poop over this will just look the other way here. If some lesser prospect pulled this same card then they’d be getting ripped apart by some people.
Personally, I’ve always been okay with American/European prospects taking their time to join the NHL/AHL. They have the right to do what they believe is the best for them. Where I draw the line is the stupid 4 year college rule. I totally understand fans getting upset in that circumstance.
Even Euro players going back home if they don’t make the NHL team. Who am I to judge? More money(usually), playing in your home country, closer to family/friends, speaking your own language, less bus rides, etc.
I can’t sit here and pretend that I wouldn’t do the same thing. Fans just get upset that their team just lost a player and start taking shots at a player’s character. |

If Hughes had the only options as AHL or NCAA neither is a poor choice. He knows he’s getting paid down the road. We are from rushing him onto the team. |

No electricity & no supermarkets...
Who can cope & survive?
Anyone who doesn’t have it now.
Anyone not solely dependent on it.
Anyone with 1/2 a brain to know how to survive by their own means & not relying on anything but themselves.
I wouldn’t do very well 😂😂
I can read an analog clock
I can do math without a calculator
I can think without a device.
Its not enough lol - Nighthawk
Me and Booner are the only ones on here that would survive, the rest of you are ducked with a few exceptions. |
