not sure what a cop contender is, but dahlin and Eichel are the keys as to why I wouldn't - Michael Pachla
I think you’re forgetting how much Depth that team had vanek 23 , Roy 23 , Pominville 24, drew s 21, MacArthur 21 Tim c 25 ,

Criticize Jack and Sam for supposedly being drinkers who stay up until the sun comes up on game days and still show up to work, yeah, how dare they. They aren't Jim-Kellying around town or driving into buildings and literally every single player ever does that when they're young and grinding the schedule. |

if bogo goes down, could be
scandella-dahlin
guhle-risto
mccabe-pilut
not sure I would like a lineup of 5 lefties on D though - homiedclown
So many lefties is tough, but I think that's the most talented starting 6 fwiw. Would love to see Guhle and Dahlin, but think that's a year or two away. The speed there could be a handful for the opposition. |

More... a “goal scorer” that doesn’t score, we already have one of those. - gordong
I’m going to disagree ..
when he had the same points as Casey and Blake wheeler
But those aren’t goal scores |

There's a bias towards prospects who play in easy leagues and put up big numbers. It's not worth fighting.

You know, its when people don't really know the phrase they're about to use so in an eyebulb popping last stich effort to sound smart they say something that isn't quite right, but is phonetically close. It really gets my gander up.

It depends on what era we are talking about here
If they are playing under today's rules
Mittelstadt over one of the most overrated players in Sabres history...Afinogenov
If they are playing under the 2006 rules I keep Max but Casey over Kotalik and I move the lines around a bit
2006 rules:
Briere Eichel Mittelstadt
Vanek Drury Reinhart
Hecht Roy Afinogenov
Sheary Berglund Stafford
Lydman Tallinder
Dahlin Risto
Soupy Teppo
Miller
Hutton
2018 rules
Briere Eichel Mittelstadt
Hecht Drury Reinhart
Vanek Roy Pomminville
Sheary Berglund Kotalik
defense and goaltenders stay the same
Pommville gets the nod in 2018 with Afinogenov out - Stripes77
I don’t think I’d mess around too much with lines that were working so well together
Good post though sir
Looking back at the ‘06 team...
Obviously I’d keep Briere & Drury
Then I’d have traded Max + to get a top pair quality guy on defense
And McKee is a guy i wouldn’t have gotten rid of
Probably would’ve kept Dumont too
I know the Cap was a concern,
But we let too many players walk for nothing when we could’ve kept them & traded others
Max, Kotalik & Kalinin come to mind as guys I’d have moved
Wasn’t a big Spacek fan either |
