Given the things I've heard about the others it wouldn't surprise me at all, even with the negatives I've heard about Allen, but at least he's a rookie. Not that Peterman's a grizzled vet or anything, but he should have a huge advantage working in an NFL system in the NFL for a year.

Edit: I never thought McCarron was anything but insurance for the draft in case they didn't get a deal for a QB.

I just don’t see how he makes sense for us?
He’ll turn 31 right after the start his next deal,
which I’m quite sure he will want to be long term

If it’s a 3 for 1 type deal, then we probably aren’t giving up anything all that great,
But i don’t wanna vomit big $$$ to anyone after they’re 35


If we are looking for a RH defenseman,
that makes a lot of sense
Especially if the thought is that Dahlin at least starts on the left

I think if Allen hangs with the other 2, he gets the nod

and I don't believe throwing the kid to the wolves hurts his development

most of the busts in the top ten sucked everywhere they went, not one case where a top 10 bust became a stud on his second or 3rd team
