If Taney has a good and healthy season his value near the deadline will be high, but I doubt he gets moved.

Kamloops.
The other Ktown.
I used to live there and suspect it hasn’t changed much in the last 20 years.
I remember enjoying the Blazers and skiing. That’s about it. - dbot
It's hot and boring there from what I've seen of it |

I’d love to get Trouba for Tanev +. What would it take? |

If Benning/FA want to push for the playoffs soon, there’s a higher chance of Edler getting re-signed and both he and Tanev still here in 19/20 than there is of one of them getting moved.
The team only has 2 legit top 4 dmen so I can’t see them trading 1 if they want to start improving in the standings.
Better to just accept reality now |

I’m comfortable with anyone over 24 years of age!!! Not comfortable with draft picks so you may be right. They would save $1mil this year and who knows next year. We can afford to extend him long term.
What would it cost?? Make me uncomfortable! |

I thought after yesterdays discussion it was decided we didn't have any of those |

Cole Cassels has signed in the German DEL for next season after failing to receive a qualifying offer from the Vancouver Canucks.
Signed a 1 year contract, so he will be back in time to replace Beagle for the cup run. |

IF Benning was smart, and that is a big IF, he would sit Edler down at the TDL and say "Accept a trade to a contender, try and win the cup. On July 1st we can start discussing a new contract to bring you back to Van and finish out your career here." |

If he was smart he’d be starting to sit down with him now, get him talking and thinking about it |

Definitely, that's why a Grade A prospect and a 1st is included.
I wouldn't make the trade because I like Horvat but I would guess Horvat is who would be the asking price for Trouba. |
