Very few coaching changes over the last year. Wonder where AV will eventually end up? Edmonton? Maybe Columbus if they go out in the first round again?

I mean Gibson's deal is in line with Lundqvist 3rd deal. And Lundqvist didn't take a hometown discount. He wanted ti be paid like the best goalie in the world and the MVP of the team. They end. Chalk one up on the wrong side for yourself, Saver.

Again, stop the B.S., tanker, in saying that I was wrong, or changing the context of my comment, since it's ONLY YOU who can't read and comprehend properly, to understand the meaning I was conveying of the Gibson/Hank MOST CURRENT contract comparison. Was Hank not only the best NHL goalie, but also a top 10 overall NHL player back in Dec., 2013 when signing that 7 year, $8.5M AAV extension???
Did you read their career Regular and Postseason stats I posted to compare Hank's first 8 seasons to Gibson's career 5 in total, (the first one with only 3 games played in), AT THE TIME THEY EACH SIGNED THEIR CURRENT LENGTHIER IN YEARS TERM contracts, proving why the $8.5M AAV which Hank was given looks even greater fair now in contrast to Gibson's salary and term on his new deal???
I originally mentioned that Hank was seeking higher than Rinne's & Rask's $7M each were earning in 2013/14 as the highest priced goalies, when he signed his still current 7 year contract. So how much less than a 24% increase of a discount could he have given the Rangers on his likely FINAL highest dollar LENGTHIER TERM deal, with his then 6 YEAR DEAL at $6.875M due to expire in about 7 months on June 30, 2014???
We feared a year ago what McDonagh when here would command on his next contract after he took a team discount for them at $4.7M. Now at age 29, he was just extended at a 44% increase by Tampa for 7 additional years starting next season at a $6.75M AAV, when he would then be an age 30 for a d'man. We should only question the 7 YEARS TERM necessary to retain Hank back then at his $8.5M, since he was only 3 months shy of age 32 when signing that deal.
So "chalk one up on the wrong side," tanker, for once again not being able to read and comprehend the meaning of my initial comment yesterday, backed with facts, instead of the B.S. that you attempted twice thus far to WRONGLY convey it to mean.

You just can't help yourself with these War & Peace posts eh? I think you can better get your point across faster and better with the less is more theory.

Hi Rusty. How's Brian doing?
It's ONLY for that illiterate tanker on this blog, why it is necessary to post a lengthy factual comment in a means as if you are present in the same room talking face to face to him, in order to get him to comprehend it properly. Yet, it's still not enough for this blog's bully, and his trump like ways in life. Equally wrong is when he claims that someone here was saying something else incorrectly they had never said, in changing their comments' context, for him to WRONGLY SO criticize them.

If it's longer than a paragraph and looks aggressive I just pass. If you're going the unhinged route keep it to like 200 characters or less.

we are officially in the midst of the slowest part of the offseason

but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel boys and there are so many story lines this year that we are going to have a lot to talk about
