I would say he's an AHL top 6. He's not going to start with top 6 TOI in the nhl. Top 9 sure, feed him lots of OZ and PP, he'll be fine. He may be top 6 by Christmas, might not be.

The 4th year doesn't even matter, you can buy him out or just send him to the AHL for the 4th year or even the last 2 years. And the 3M is pretty much nothing with all the cap space we have.

I mean it just the owners money and the cap doesn't matter until you're up against it and then you can just waive someone or trade a couple of scrubs. It's not hard to get back into contention.
