Comparing EP to McCann is a cut dried easy call. Played against men. JB doles out TOI?
Blah blah blah... - Nighthawk
He’s played against men who aren’t good enough to play in the NHL. J’annule Hansen is about to play against men in the KHL, Ried Boucher has been playing against men for a few years now.
As far as ice time, if he (and you) say Pettersson is a top six forward, then you are essentially deciding on ice time before he ever steps on the ice. |

I don't know that he'll be gone by next year, but I do think Aquaman will hire a Pres of Hockey Ops within the year, and whoever that is might give Benning one more year before the golden handshake. So, I give JB two more years tops... - TheGatewaytoHell
I bet he is the GM through his contract and gets promoted to pres of hockey ops with RJo taking over as GM |

I would say he's an AHL top 6. He's not going to start with top 6 TOI in the nhl. Top 9 sure, feed him lots of OZ and PP, he'll be fine. He may be top 6 by Christmas, might not be.

We'll bring in Burke for the short term to work his magic at the draft to get the other brother. |

I almost feel sorry for Sens fans.
Don't mind Colorado getting their pick. at least we get to see another good player on a western conference team.
I keep on reading these quotes about JB saying he didn't get TL fired blah blah. Was this interview on the radio or was it just between JB and Ian McIntyre or whoever? Is there a radio clip? |

I'm thinking 3m x 4 years with a modified ntc to solidify the 13th forward position. - Pres.cup
Agreed.
The 4th year doesn't even matter, you can buy him out or just send him to the AHL for the 4th year or even the last 2 years. And the 3M is pretty much nothing with all the cap space we have.
So it's really more like 1M x 2 year deal if you really think about it. |

Couldn't agree more.
No point in having cap space if you don't use it.
I support the team based on how much money they spend, plus Brouwer is local so it's a double win. |

I mean it just the owners money and the cap doesn't matter until you're up against it and then you can just waive someone or trade a couple of scrubs. It's not hard to get back into contention. |

The more you spend the more likely you are to win. It usually means that you have more mentors than any other team, as well. |
