I don't get this narrative that pins the Canucks travails on their two greatest players. I've never heard anything about those two demanding things to keep them happy.

Two incredibly talented players, who could be the nucleus for a Stanley cup, who have never (mostly) played together, who if you are a good general manager you could justify trading one and not the other if it came to that.

You can never have enough good centers. Elias played a ton of wing on Vaxjo as well. If we ever landed Jack it would be a huge win for our organization imo
