I'm serious about all of that

No you're not. The entire comment was fine until you said a 2023 7th. A 2024 6th is actually reasonable, moran. 6ths are basically 2nds, and they're the 2nd most important picks in a draft.

So what. They're 23. If they're on waivers, they're not worth much on the market.

You may in fact have them listed as NHLers, but if they're on waivers, the league thinks extremely little of them.

- TheSabresTaco

What I’m saying is that IF they’re here,
then we have to move a couple guys out

Sounds like you’re assuming they’ll be on waivers
If that’s the plan, why would Botts even bother signing them?

It’s a numbers thing
We have some extra guys
That’s all I’m saying

Girgensons/Berglund/Pommer

is a really solid 3rd line IMO. Win faceoffs... grinding players.. Pommer lacks on D but I like it. They will score some tough earned goals.

Wilson/Erod/Bailey or Baptiste on the 4th. Keep Tage in AHL.

Get rid of Larsson.

- JVince11

Just spitballing, but I don't see any scenario where Girgensons is on the third line. Wilson and Erod are better players.

Girgensons and Pominville should be battling for the last roster spot or they can interchange each other as the extra forward

Interesting
And i think you & i might be the only 2 who haven’t given up on Bailey

- jdfitz77

they need a little grit in the top 9 IMO

Just go Skinner Eichel Erod; Sheary Mitts Samsonite and be done with it. Can you say Atlantic Division Title for the Key Bank Biblioteca?

False. 3rd round picks are the 2nd most important IDIOT. Unless it's the first pick in the 2nd, because then it's a first. Didn't think I had to SPELL IT OUT FOR YOU. Get a job. DUMMY.

This is worth looking at in regards to Pominville.

Bailey-Rodrigues-Baptiste
I’d like to see that line play, even though it would be the 4th line

I don’t think it’ll happen though

Looks like I’m one of the few who still like Bailey & Baptiste

"...we'll see a 25-30 goal scorer ..."

Sorry Pach but you are wrong. I see Skinner scoring 30 - 35 riding shotgun with Jack ECHL. In fact, i see the top line scoring 90 goals this season.

Skinner/ECHL/Rhino
Sheary/Mitts/Okposo
EROD/Berglund/Thompson
Baptiste/Sobotka/Pommer
Bailey
Girgs

Scandella/Risto
Dahlin/Bogo
McCabe/Nelson
Blow-you or Hunwick

Hutton/Ulmark

A good combination of youth/vets and speed on all 4 lines. I see the above as a 90 point team. Plus Rochester will be stacked to start the year. Guys like Guhle, Nylander, CJ Smith, Asplund will bust their balls to try and make the big squad. Should be a fun season to be a Sabres fan.

I OBJECT!!!

I want to have missing match about this for at least the next 4 pages where we can twist each other's words and then start to attack each other on a personal level about our hockey IQ.

But.... Nah fam... you get your opinion.

If you had to think of the most GMTM move that he would have probably have done this summer what do you think it would have been???

I think he would have traded Risto and Samson for Karlsson and Bobby Ryan. I just think that has him written all over it.

Would have resigned Kane to a big 8x8 deal too I bet.

What do you guys think?

I bet he would have thrown a deal at Kovalchuk. Maybe a 8x13 at Tavares. Lol

- JVince11

I try not to think of things like that...

he was what he was and when it came to trades he wasn't good...

Buffalo GM Jason Botterill said he hasn't had discussions with Jeff Skinner about a contract extension, but he seems hopeful that the two sides can come to an agreement.

Skinner chose to waive his no-trade clause to join the Sabres, which is an encouraging sign. "Having more success means having players who are excited about being in your city. You see that with Rasmus Dahlin, with Jack (Eichel) making a commitment last year to Buffalo, and now seeing Jeff coming in here," said Botterill. "We're excited. They want to be part of Buffalo and want to be part of things with the Sabres organization." Skinner, who is a Toronto native, will also get the chance to play closer to home. He will probably skate alongside Jack Eichel in 2018-19, so a return to the 30-goal plateau could be in the cards.

The Principal Skinner joke is something I think I can play out all summer.

Possibly into the year when he has those defensive lapses:

Im assuming that’ll happen soon-ish
Botts couldn’t actually talk to him about it till the trade went through
