I would assume that Smith, O’Regan also are exempt from waivers much like Bailey and Baptiste. We are going to have to move both Girgensons and Larsson or expose one of the above “prospects” on waivers. Also have Wilson still in the bottom 6 as well. |

Smith & O’Regan can be sent down without having to clear waivers
Bailey & Baptiste would have to clear though
I think they’d both get scooped up |

What if...
1.sign Reinhardt for 1 year,
2. trade him to sens for Karlsson. Maybe throw in pommer and or moulson
3. Sam becomes FA at end of next year
4 he signs with us.
5. Eichel picks him up from the airport on the tandem bike.
6. Profit.

it's getting there...there are picks from three different gms plus free agents from two who are making their way into the system...
gotta remember, murray gutted the entire organization during the tank years |

Still have some work to do
I think he’ll move out at least a guy or 2 this season
And we will lose a couple more next season
Making room for some kids to get a chance |

False. 3rd round picks are the 2nd most important IDIOT. Unless it's the first pick in the 2nd, because then it's a first. Didn't think I had to SPELL IT OUT FOR YOU. Get a job. DUMMY. - SDSabre

Pominville isn't worth the time for anything. - SABRES 89
He is if he's in your top 9.
Point I'm trying to make here is that he's not as useless as people seem to think he is. In fact, he's one of the few bright spots in the bottom 6 from last year. |

This is a huge win for Skinner, honestly.
-He gets to live closer to home.
-He gets a feature role next to a legit 1C and guaranteed top PP time.
-He gets that in a contract year, giving him an opportunity to really produce in his last season before he cashes in.
-The Sabres D is/was abhorrent, so when his defensive numbers suffer, nobody will care because those were always going to look a bit bad on this team anyway, right? |

Dahlin
Healthy McCabe
Goddamn it, Bogo get healthy
Maybe Guhle
Hunwick for depth instead of Falk
Beaulieu not playing
Should be a whole hell of a lot better |

Considering people around here occasionally female dog about Eichel's lack of a refined 200' game, I'm sure it will be brought up more often than people would like. But if he's scoring 30-35 goals (this is very similar to Kane and his deficiencies) people will likely not complain too often. |

Should be, but if it's not (With the exception of Dahlin, obviously), then at least the team will be a hell of a lot more fun to watch. |

I really want this guy inked. Has anyone heard anything as to whether or not there is the intention of signing him long term before the season starts? |

The entire core dynamic of this team has shifted wildly as well. There's depth in the bottom 6, there's speed in the top 6, possession metrics have greatly increased, goalie ability has increased. You've got guys that are capable of zone exits instead of just Reinhart and Eichel.
Predicting how the defense will perform with not only its new additions but with an entirely different set of forwards is folly. |

Cough cough - Stripes77
I think you could use a combination of picks and prospects to make something work. That's the only thing that would make sense for both teams. Use a 1st, offer them Smith or Nylander or Asplund or Pu. See if they have any use for Zemgus Larsson or Nick Bailey.
