Carol Schram: Quinn Hughes and other Canucks prospects showing well as Showcase concludes While Quinn Hughes has stood out for Team USA at this week's World Junior Showcase in Kamloops, Vancouver Canucks prospects Toni Utunen, Jett Woo and Michael DiPietro have also showed well.

Thanks Carol,

Wish I could watch the game live but I'll try to stream it this afternoon.

I'm not going entertain the idea of Canucks landing Jack Hughes. Canucks have mastered the art of disappointment.

They will get a good player next year though, I have no doubt.

I believe Hughes will be a dynamic player for years to come for the Canucks. I also wanted Dobson at 7 but I think Hughes will be a better fit and a better player moving forward.

If the same goalie tandem start and finish the season, Hello brother Jack

They'll both be good. Can only have one.
The Isles were the big winners. Thanks to Treliving.

Imagine the Canucks had #7 and #8.

Who would you have taken?
I would have gone Hughes-Dobson. Boom, D fixed.

I would have done Tanev and our second for Dobson.

You deny being part of the hysteria in cheering for failure...? As in Pom Pom glee to mock and denegrade Canucks. Cast sarcasm and cynicism with delight. Isn't that over the top roar chanting negativity?

I liked what Toni Utunen brought . He seemed very responsible and not out of position very much. He looks like a very smart player.

Woo did play well also , has an edge to his game.

Quinn really impressed me. I found of Jack likes to take a lot risks with the puck. I think he will be flattened with his style in the NHL . He does look very good but for some reason his style looks very Junior hockey. He won't rag the puck like that in the NHL.

Dipietro is the next MAF
