The narrative of Sam at 3C last season being why he played so pourly really is way, way over blown, it needs to stop as an excuse for a very poor 1st half performance

He played crappy for 44 games, before putting up nearly a PPG pace in last 38.
In those 44 games, a total 17 games were at 3C
Inthe other 27 games, he played with Jack and ROR and produced at ghe same poopty PPG pace as the 1st 17.

It just is fake news / a false narrative...plain and simple.

but we need to stop blaming that for the other 30-ish games where he sucked

I’m guessing they had hoped Sam could elevate Pouliot & Griffith,
but that was a tough ask
I still wouldn’t mind seeing Sam at Center
But he needs a guy who can finish

Anyways, I think he's a good supporting player and I'd bridge him without a second thought.

I dont think 3 coaches, unless one counts the 9 game run as his "1st season"
2 with Disco Dumbo where he performed decently.
1 with Housley that was two ends of the spectrum.

Adjustment time? surely....just not 44 games to do it.

It i s a stretch to lay it at thdd feet of coaching change for that long of a period.
