Believe it or not, it was actually a couple of degrees cooler at my place in FL, than it was at my place in NJ yesterday. Go figure. - BiggE
My dad was with me in wpb for the last 17 days, humidity is crazy but he said hot as hell in NJ. OCTOBER - aprilish are amazing in Florida |

re - carter hart.
My gut is probably wrong, but I just have a crazy feeling that he will make the team (the big club) out of camp. I just have a feeling. - hockeylover
It's possible. Like I said earlier, it's not like he has to beat out Hasek and Brodeur, LOL.

That would take an injury to at least one of Elliott, Lyon(s), or Stolarz. This assumes Neuvirth is out for 4 months after stepping on the ice to start camp. |

So he'll lead us to a 61-5 record, then go down with a season-ending injury, only for former Philadelphia starter and now backup Steve Mason to lead us to Cup glory?
I'll take it. - jmatchett383
Mason will have needed to be signed because the boat Stolarz, Lyon, Neuvy, and Elliott were on was eaten by The Meg. |

Hasek wasn't that good. Couldn't even beat out a rookie for the starter's job in Chicago. |

Yup, can't wait to be there permanently next year. Love a place where I can play outdoor gigs pretty much year round. It really is a perfect spot for me. Within a 2 hour driving radius from my home is St. Augustine, Jacksonville, Daytona, Gainesville and Orlando. Between those 5 areas alone are over 100 venues that book the type of music I play. |

Neuvirth will likely sprain his wrist opening his car door to head to practice, and Stolarz is one hard shot away from having both of his legs fall off so it's all happening!

Meh Jonesy knows nothing. There are much older, much wiser hockey minds who understand the Flyers will regress this season due to the loss of Manning and Filppula. - MBFlyerfan
Thankfully we still have Lehtera or we'd likely be looking a dead last finish

Your main 3 tiers:
- Generational (Lemiuex, Crosby, McDavid)
- Franchise (Stamkos, Kane, Matthews)
- Superstars (Nico/Nolan, Yakupov)
Most likely in the Franchise tier. - Glak18

Could also happen, but I think Hart has the better shot because you have the AHL option. If Frost makes the team and then is struggling by December your only options are returning him to Junior and blowing a year of his ELC or parking him in the Cote suite. |

I think he's going based off who they were viewed leading up to the draft. Not the steaming turd that one turned out to be. |

Read the series back in the late 90s/early00s. Author is a Philly guy. The books were enjoyable but this movie looks like a me(g)ss |

Obviously, no one made any offer for our #1 or #2 goaltender. As Lyons and Hart are probably both NHL ready, I think Hextal would have entertained offers on both. Next year, unless one has a great playoff, both are done. Savings in cap space too. |

I think Frost has the better shot at making the team. I put Hart's chance just below your BAC |

How they turn out in retrospect doesn't affect their draft status, otherwise he would of never gone #1 overall. |
