Oh, no, it was on the east side of route 130, but we did go to the skating rink and bowling alley that was in Edgewater Park (I think). Also the $2 movie in Marlton (on route 38 I think) was a frequent destination.

As for #3....I'm going with an "older" guy, Scott Laughton. This is the year he fulfills his draft year promise and takes the reins as the 3C.

I think Patrick is a logical #1. Full off-season to train, etc.

I'm going with Lindblom as my #2. He has had a taste of the big leagues and didn't look out of place.

Hart will be outplayed by Lyon this year and not play a game for the big club. So sure, #3.

If they Flyers have more wins than losses (L+OTL) this year, they are going to need somebody who was a Phantom last year to step up big at 3C, so that would be your #2/#3. If the Flyers take a step back then it will be Patrick, Sanheim, Lindblom.

I think we all assume that the team, as it is currently constructed, is still two or three years away from being serious Cup contenders. Running with a combination of Elliott, Nuevey, Lyon, Stolie this year won't diminish our chances of making playoffs and hoping for a first-round win.

Now, let's just say that all the pieces come together. We improve the PK, our young d corps plays above their heads. Secondary scoring and team defense are strong. All of the guys we have identified as needing to step up actually step up. We are 1st place in Metro, near top of conference. If the only question mark at the halfway point is goaltending and Carter Hart is playing well in AHL, do we ride him?

Thoughts on what Hexy should or would do in that situation?

It's funny that anyone thinks Stolarz will ever play an NHL game again. I mean, maybe for Phoenix.

If two of the Flyers goaltenders go down, Hexy trades for a rental to backup Lyon. No way Hextall rushes Hart into the lineup behind 18 guys who will be lucky to be a .500 team no matter who their goal is.

Flyers finished 3rd in a tough Metro last season and were a playoff team. No reason they can't be a playoff team again.

I grew up about 20 minutes from it. Fond memories of my dad taking us down to the river to skip stones by the bridge.

Mt Holly? I used to skip a ton of stones too and we fished under the bridge too.

On a completely different topic:

If any of you miscreants will be in the south Jersey shore area tomorrow night, I will be playing from 8-11pm at Proud Mary's Bar, 3209 Fairmount Ave in Atlantic City. No cover, and the drink prices are very reasonable!

Would love to but there are 1500 miles between us.
