Whose spots are these three new guys depriving? - VANTEL
Over the course of the next 4 years? Probably 2 or 3 guys like Lind or Gadj. |

How do you arrive at 4yrs?
Is it written in stone somewhere?
Pretty lofty to think them not 3rd liners. |

Whoever. Either it’s crowded or it isn’t. If it’s crowded stop making it more crowded. Seems simple to me. |

Players like Gaunce should worry about 4th line ice time. Its strange ppl think 4th liners are holding any prospect back or did I blink & we became a contender overnight. |

I seriously doubt that. If Dorsett was not injured and forced to retire he probably would have been extended for the same money as Roussel
We haven't had a fourth line proper winger in years , in fact I can only remember Gaunce and Dowd last year I don't know who the other winger was so I don't think Schallers two year deal hindered anyone's development.
Beagle replace Dowd . The only prospect Canucks have close to being a fourth line center is MacEwen . I am sure if Zack is ready for the 2020 year then we can wonder what to do with Beagles last two years |

Nice perspective 👍👍
Hung up on contracts is easily dealt with.
We lack many things & 4th liners is done.
2nd scoring line is a top priority to go along scoring from D. |

Talented depth yes 👍
Wing is deep
C is not

LHD is solid
Scoring D not

As for Marwood on Lind & Gadj being 2-3yrs away frim being ready I agree. Gadj has to work more on skating if he is to make the show. I like everything else about him. Lind i have higher hopes for suited on the 3rd line. All around skills be nice depth there. |

The next year or 2 will be crucial for our prospects whether on the big team or developing in Utica. Much rides on them & JB’s future as the architect going forward.
I’m reasonably optimistic but need to see some major growth & results in Utica. |

Lol good article. We are getting Caufield for sure - CanuckDon
1st player to pull off a toe drag with the puck & he both go thru the D’s legs?
Or
High sticks a puck below the crossbar & the goal is waved off 😂😂 |

Never been able to do country music, 90% of it sounds the same to me.
I'm not into rap or hip hop at all either beyond comedic stuff, I usually go for alt rock above all else - NorthNuck
lol that's because 90% of it is written off the same 4 basic guitar chord structures...G, C, A and D.
There is great country music out there but most of it exists in the pre-Garth Brooks eras.
Check out Chris Stapleton for a newer country artist if you want something different...He has been dubbed as 'the man who will save country' lol. Very skilled, very talented...writes his own stuff. 'When the Stars Come Out' is a killer track by him...google it. |

Speaking of Garth Brooks I was driving with the wife and I was singing The Dance. The wife then asks me if I wrote that song ? I said dear that is a world famous song . She says I know it is world famous but it seems like you wrote it. I told her" We drive a Santa Fe , does it really seem like I wrote a multi million dollar song?"

Agree with this slightly.. RHD needs a top pairing guy which is hard to find. Center is fine if Petterson is a center. If he is a winger then we are hurting as we need a number 1/2 center. Center depth with Gaudette/Horvat is good and have Madden coming.
I just see 2 big holes in a top line Center or Wing (depends on Petterson) and then top pairing RHD.
Obviously upgrading in overall depth along the way. We probably need 3 more drafts where we poop the bed and some luck to get there. I have no faith in JB to sell off vets to get us there. |
