Will i admit beagle brings more of that than half the team, absolutely.

I think again, there is a bit of a disconnect in the definition. Standing up for yourself and your team mates should be in the blue print of EVERY player. I want to fast forward to the 2019 draft. 2019 is going to be insane watching Hughes, EP, Boeser and Horvat dominate on the PP. plus we will likely have another blue chip center in the prospect pool. Hughes should be the most exciting Canuck since bure

Lol and i commend him for it. He held his own and came out unscathed. I wouldnt be upset though if he doesnt drop the gloves though. Horvat should, in my opinion, be the next captain, which is in line with toews, getzlaf, etc. He embodies what i want all canuck players to embody in being a canuck.

Any band can sound half decent with enough beer

By the time Beagle final two years come in Canucks will have tons of cap space and if they really need another player to fill that role it won't be an issue. You can bet Beagle knows he was given extra years as a signing bonus and security for his family. Wether he actually gets to play those final two years is another subject for another day.
