You know I donโt much like Stecher or Hutton, I state that in a post maybe once every 4 days, but because of my status and I was the only one that can see he is a detriment to the team, I became labelled as a Stecher hater. It became a joke, and people still like mock me over Stecher.
But you and vintsy are a bit over the top with the beagle hate, 15 pages today and 372 pages of past blogs. Like it or not, there is absolutely nothing you can do about Beagle or Gaunce, same with Stencher, accept and embrace - Makita
Are you suggesting we go full Nucker? I could do that, I think it would be more annoying... |

How about ALL the Canuck fans try something novel?
Get behind the team & stop wallowing in the mud every day. Season is 2 months away still & the chatter is about contracts when the cap says that's irrelevant. Sedins retire & folks go on & on about scoring. Ppl do like our prospects & kids & now there is the opportunity to turn the page. Yes we all know we are in a hole but thats been the same as the past 5yrs so why live in the past instead of embracing the beginning of a new era? |

Lol
Turn the page. Leaf is a banable offence.
Seriously now i prefer to look forward to TGโs 2nd year & the impact he can have. A fresh start to a new season & if they work as hard as acknowledged by the other teams own words it will be fun. |

Are you suggesting we go full Nucker? I could do that, I think it would be more annoying... - 1970vintage
Well that depends on 3 things;
1.) Full Nucker during the Sutter trade...pick one, ๐๐
2.) Positive Peter Nucker when he returned to the Canucks blog, ๐๐
3.) If you pick #1๐, then you must be prepared to leave and become a full blown Philly fan, and return a year and a half later as Positive Peter Nucker...oh and there is the whole Kesler, Nylander poster thing to consider.
So whatโs it going to be? |

Moving onto the roster now...
The UFA signings didnโt really hurt us as far as the kids getting opportunity. It did help us for team D & put Gaunce on notice.
Iโm wondering where AGโs game is at & if he has a spot to lose or not.
With Bo Sutter & Beagle at C if not AG idk if i like the other options if its Gagner or Granlund.
Too many players & not enough spots to go around. Something has to give unless AG is pegged for Utica & a waiver or 2 happens. |

Why go on & on about money?
Explain how it holds us back - Nighthawk
In three years we will have 12 million tied up in beagle Rousel and Eriksson.
In three years we should be competitive.
We will be resigning Peterson and potentially Hughes.
12 million is what we could pay for a top end free agent like Karlsson next year or a matthews type player.
Having that kind of money tied up in three fourth liners with NTCs rather then saving it to go after a player to push us over the top makes no sense. Anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot. |

Isn't day-drinking fun?!?! - Marwood
I gave up drinking, I finally see the end of the Canuck Tunnel.
Veterans sheltering younger inexperienced players to their benefit. Top offensive talent being given the opportunity to thrive. Guys pushing for playing time and breaking through. Benning and Weisbrod are two of the smartest executives in the league, this team will really turn it around next year.
All the guys who held them back last season will be gone, either to Utica (more likely KC), or picked off waivers by some other desperate teams (probably the Leafs).
As guys like Gaudette grow into bigger roles established players like Sutter will be flipped for 1st round picks.
I bet by the deadline this year The team will be in a playoff dogfight, with Demko playing a big part. |
