I don't think anyone even wants him in the opening night roster. in his seasons here he hasnt even come close to any of the expectations. Yet we keep hearing from JB that he does all the right things. Bullcrap. Cut our losses. We are just flogging a dead horse with him in the line up. He is not a fit.

The league is about scoring. Even when they have poopty seasons Gagner and Eriksson outscore Gaunce and Roussel

Not if you consider goals against, otherwise known as net goals for. Guance is a net positive goals for player, Gagner and Beagle are net negative goals for players.

Difference between this years team and previous teams is you don't have to ask players like Eriksson and Granlund to take up primary defensive roles. Thanks to Roussel, Beagle, Schaller. Could allow Granlund and Eriksson to take up more 2 way roles playing with more offensive players.

If Loui is scoring 25 then of course you would keep him over a guy like Roussel

If Loui scores 13 and is paid 6 mil while a guy like Roussel scores 10 at half the cost and stirs poop and is better defensively then who cares about those extra 3 goals Loui gets.

If Benning ices his 13 best forwards then there is no issue. Just don't ice a team according to salary commitment .

You can bet Beagle knows he was given extra years as a signing bonus and security for his family. Wether he actually gets to play those final two years is another subject for another day.

The thing I like is Green told him and Sutter . You need to come back a lot better than what you were. Whatever you did for previous training , switch it up. Sounds like a few people with the Canucks are tired of their performance also.

15-20 games with top 6 minutes would be a good test of consistency. He has the ability. Leipsic I mean.

Last season you saw players like Burmistrov, Rodin, Wierchoich.

Year before Chaput, Megna, Skille, Rendulic.

Signing cheap players aren't assets because they can't play in the league. The youth are better then these players already. Those players suck.

Beagle, Schaller, Roussel, Gagner, MDZ show they can play and contribute in the league.(While not as much as some would place on them).
