I don’t think it’s too early to say he will never go on an end to end rush for a goal, or take over a game like Jack has.

I see that potential in Casey, Eichel, Dahlin.

Lots of elite players that are much better than Reinhart also have bad seasons, it’s not like 2017 was the norm.
Kid has a bad first half suddenly he’s trash, no he’s not gonna rush up the ice through everyone and score like the Eichels and mcdavids, but there are very few players that can do that.
If Reinhart averages 60 ish points a season and around 20-25 goals, I could care less how he gets the points as long as the results are there.

I might be misreading ppls comments but it seems most on here have no use for Sam, maybe I’m off on this, but it seems unless he’s the next Gretzky ppl will constantly be complaining.
Again I could be off on that assumption.

I was at that January game in Vancouver when they won 4 - 0. They actually looked good, albeit against the Canucks. Baptiste scored a nice one that game. Free Baptiste from the 4th line stiffs so that he can prove he is an NHLer.

Homi, I don't think anyone said Reinhart stinks. Most of us still want Reinhart to prove himself before a big contract is given to him. Myself, I watch him during games, he never wins a battle along the boards and gets knocked off the puck quite easily. Just stating fact.

unless they changed the rules to where most hits win a game, or most face off wins, or loudest cheerleader on the bench wins the game


I stand pat saying reinhart is worth much more in the 2018 market then you guys are using as realistic expectations
