Wow, that is some pretty harsh words, no wonder the Saudi's are so upset. - 1970vintage
I think they are upset the words came from a woman and she is still alive. |

Yes before any games are played I still feel he's the 3rd best dman. Simply put.
I will feel free to change my mind any time and will have no problem admitting my projection was off. My point is where he was drafted hasnt changed my mind. Need to see some hockey to do that. Dobson looked damn good in the summer showcase... not that it's much of a gauge. I just get the feeling he will make a couple of teams regret passing on him still. - boonerbuck
Only team i saw passing on Dobson was the Oil & i agree they will regret it. |

He's also going to win again, because the NDP have a terrorist sympathizer for a leader and the Conservatives have a young Brian Mulroney. Ontario, Quebec and Alberta will all vote for Trudeau and that will decide the election (as usual). - DariusKnight

I'm more left than the Liberals, but not sure if I like voting NDP or Green.
Hated how Harper undid a lot of environmental protections.
The environment is fecked.
Wish we would take care of our veterans and properly equip our military.
Fix health care. - hillbillydeluxe
Pay-per-use, low fee. Discourage the people going to ER for a common cold or a mild flu. Hell I knew a guy that used to drink until “he needed” an ambulance. Those ambulance calls stopped shortly after they started costing $75 a pop.
Imagine what $5-$7 bucks a pop would do to ER wait times, maybe $3-$5 at a clinic or your doctor’s office. Guidelines of course.

People who want to pay for services should be able to. Our health care system is a national disgrace and yet it's the highest consumer of our tax dollars. |

For a family of four, United States citizens, a thousand dollars per month will get you excellent excellent healthcare down there.
Their problem is a lot of people can't afford that thousand dollars a month. |

Didn't you say you hide your money in off shore ? Why are you complaining about paying taxes you don't pay?

You'd be very naive to think I've never paid any taxes. For several years I paid around 100K dollar a year in income tax. I think I've contributed my share and probably yours too |

I doubt i could afford the 1000 dollars per month health care.
I have very few problems with our current system and having been cared for by the healthcare providers that were either trained through our education system, that is subsidized by the taxpayer, or the recruited providers that have also been subsidized through taxpayer dollars.😁

The difference is I've always paid my share and now am getting stuck with paying your share . Nothing I love more than paying a freeloaders share while he earns more than me. |

I keep hearing it is difficult to find a family doctor. It is also difficult to get into a walkin clinic.
when you do get into these walk-in clinics, you see signs that say, one issue per patient.
to get the prescription for a refill, doctors want you to visit them so they can charge msp or have a fee to charge you over the phone.
more people must be turning to google for medical advice/help. |

Ed sheeran was the wifes choice lol, he has talent tho. Weird to see an artist perform all his songs without a band.
U2 was the best concert of them all. Bono has some pipes on him.
Kings of leon were ok. - Codes1087
I'm in London in October and I saw U2 is gonna be playing the O2 for a couple of nights. Thought what the hell I'll see what tickets cost but there's almost none available even for resale. The ones that are are pretty much back row upper level for over $300 per |

There already is. People who can afford it can travel abroad to get work done. I know a few people who have gone to India or Middle East to get work done and it cost very little in comparison and no waiting.
It’s the waiting for surgery that upsets most Canadians. |

I hate to break it to you, but if you're a mill worker making around 100k dollars a year, you already pay that money in taxes that they don't pay as they're generally taxed at a much lower rate.
It's a huge misconception we have free healthcare! We pay through the ass in taxes to fund our system, they pay out of their pockets from after tax dollars.
If you make around or over 90k dollars in BC you pay 12.29% + 26% or 38.29%. In Arizona for the same income bracket you'd pay 4.24% + 24% or 28.24% of your income. Plus you can write your mortgages off and way more than we can.
There's ~ your 1000 dollars per month right there. |

You'll never pay what I've paid is my guess and we enjoy the same services, so you've got nothing to complain about. I only enjoy them four months a year where you enjoy them twelve months a year though.
Btw I'm a legal resident of another country, I'm not legally required to pay taxes in Canada or I would. I'm doing nothing illegal. |

That's not what I mean, if I wanna pay I shouldn't have to fly to Seattle for surgery, I should be able to get it in Victoria where Canadian healthcare workers are paid to provide that. |
