also true. Many said that Taylor was Queen's 'secret weapon' vocally. It is said that Taylor could hit 4 octaves at times in the E2-E6 range I believe. A big factor in Queen to be sure.

Range is debatable for Taylor however, possibly a 3 octave voice range some say his Falsetto ranged from Soprano High C to E

- LordHumungous

Yeah, I think Taylor had a specific role much like Tim Schmit had in the Eagles. Hit those high notes hard.

That must be terrifying on stage. Unlike the studio, you only get one shot at it live.

1 more year. Demko can't get here soon enough

Don’t rush Demko, our goaltending is going to keep us in the hunt for another high draft pick.

Yep! If demko has the promise that all the scouts are saying, no reason to rush him into this. Dipietro the same. Nilsson length was good, same with markstrom in terms of giving demko time.

It must be poop on Benning day in the media? It's every day for me but a few articles about what's going on there.

Hughes returning to collage was a blessing. The trickle down effect helped put the brakes on rushing other prospects into the nhl.

Most backup goalies dont make it out of camp with 1 nhl game played. I think if he continues to dominate this year, gets called up during injuries, and fights for the backup next year, irs best case scenario

I think Demko should be up for good by TDL...maybe sooner.

I 100% agree with Hughes going back. I voiced that at the beginning and was told i was stupid for following a false narrative lol. I always thought him going back was best for him and the canucks. Hobey baker, frozen four, world juniors, time to put on some muscle, i think its great. He will be a canuck before the nucks season is over regardless

20 more games in Utica then he's a fulltime Canuck.

No doubt. Just watched the History of the Eagles Doc. on Netflix and they went through a thing there where Randy Meisner didn't want to sing 'Take it to the Limit' live anymore because he was having trouble with his range and hitting some of the notes live.

Just a feeling that Nilsson won't be here the full season. Demko can back up Marky when req'd.

Nilsson traded or demoted? I don’t see much trade value.

I dont think markstrom or nilsson are good enough for any team to want to trade for, so i am not sure how demko would make it up unless nilsson gets waived

What you wanna is irrelevant. If you want to pay then you gotta leave. Plus, if Canada went two-tier you couldn’t afford it. Our system is not built for efficiency and cost control.
- bloatedmosquito

Exactly, plus talent goes where the money is, so those of us who couldn't pay would be stuck with the health care providers who barely passed med school, have/had medical malpractice civil cases against them or else just plain bad doctors. Sorry, I don't want to be stuck with Dr. Jack Kevorkian working on me, instead of Dr. Doug Ross.

who's been rushed since Virtanen/McCann?

Depends how he plays obviously and whether Nilsson can be traded. If he struggles this year let him play the year out in Utica with the occasional injury call up. He will be fully ready to play backup next year for sure

You could argue they rushed Hutton and Stecher into big minutes they weren't prepared for I suppose

How?

Didn't Stecher win the award for best Canuck dman in his rookie season? He and Edler were our best pairing.

Hutton had everyone raving about him as a rookie too.

Not Benning's fault that they haven't built of off those rookie seasons.
