I’m getting a sense that the moderates that voted trump are getting tired of the drama. It’s embarrassing and a distraction. The American establishment are a proud bunch. What’s going on now is silly and Americans don’t like looking silly.
- bloatedmosquito

The moderates yes, but there is a huge population that supports Trump unconditionally and they are digging in. I don’t think American politics will ever be the same.

He's also going to win again, because the NDP have a terrorist sympathizer for a leader and the Conservatives have a young Brian Mulroney. Ontario, Quebec and Alberta will all vote for Trudeau and that will decide the election (as usual).

Not really. Trump like leadership has woken the average American up. They have learned more about their political system in the last two years then they have in the 50 years before that.

You’re going to see more people vote in the next election than ever before, and that’s a good thing.

True, but I heard the same talk when Bush jr held power. Jr looks like a (frank)ing genius now next to trump.

He used the same strategies that Bush did, he just took them to the next level.

The mid terms will be telling.

I'm more left than the Liberals, but not sure if I like voting NDP or Green.

Hated how Harper undid a lot of environmental protections.

The environment is fecked.

Wish we would take care of our veterans and properly equip our military.

Fix health care.

Ed sheeran has talent i suppose but his music makes me feel

Kings of leon

- NorthNuck

Ed sheeran was the wifes choice lol, he has talent tho. Weird to see an artist perform all his songs without a band.
U2 was the best concert of them all. Bono has some pipes on him.
Kings of leon were ok.

I'm a lot more to the right of the Liberals, but left of the Conservatives. It's too bad we don't have a Libertarian party like the States do, that's more my political flavor. Scheer scares me, and I refuse to vote NDP so that leaves me with Justin Bieb... err I mean Trudeau which makes me throw up in my mouth.

Yeah, in the 80's literally most of the biggest movies had his songs in them, either as theme songs or just on the soundtracks. I can't wait to see Bohemian Rhapsody too, I'd love to see how they all got started and how they came up with their songs. Did you know that Freddy Mercury is the only singer in history to have been able to sing in /4/ vocal ranges? Even the best opera singers can't match that. He could go from tenor to countertenor to contralto to close to soprano and he had the power to project from all those ranges too.

So.... before a game is played you put the fifth drafted D in third place?

I can see dropping bouchard down because he's slower then Donald when he's mistakenly served decaf....

- Pres.cup

Yes before any games are played I still feel he's the 3rd best dman. Simply put.

I will feel free to change my mind any time and will have no problem admitting my projection was off. My point is where he was drafted hasnt changed my mind. Need to see some hockey to do that. Dobson looked damn good in the summer showcase... not that it's much of a gauge. I just get the feeling he will make a couple of teams regret passing on him still.

As a survivalist I am confident of surviving, provided I keep a lid on my drink and don't leave it unattended. I'm looking forward to provoking a table flip however!

I believe the new King has started the process of giving rights to women there, it won't happen quickly but it's a good start. Too many centuries of oppression there. Change will come to them like it did for North America when women and people of color were second class humans back 100 years ago.

They just tried to overthrow the moderate Gov in Syria and replace it with a Saudi style Islamo fascist regime.

So I go to renew my insure my truck today. The lady tells me we have to pull your fire protection you've been paying for the last 5 years because there is a fire in the area. The only reason I have this is for forest fires. My truck is not going to burst into flames parked somewhere for no reason. I dont live in Belfast in the 1970's... this is robbery and I'll never pay it again. (frank) them.

We absolutely love it down there, it's a bit hot in the summer but we'll just come back to Canada for June July August.

Btw I just read it was actually the foreign minister who pissed them off with her tweet.

"On Aug. 5, Saudi Arabia abruptly suspended diplomatic relations with Canada in reaction to a tweet by Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland, in which she called for the release of imprisoned Saudi blogger Raif Badawi."

- LeftCoaster

Wow, that is some pretty harsh words, no wonder the Saudi's are so upset.
