Some quick marh actually paints a different picture.

109 total games means the average appearance of the 31 teams, if all appearances are equal, is 3.5.

So Buffalo's 7 appearances last season might have been an aberration and even the 5 this season is higher than the average.

EDIT: on second thought, it's probably not an aberration but due to the typically high audience viewership ratings the NHL sees routinely from the Buffalo market.

Sorry but this Maths is bugging me, that would imply that only 1 team is playing each night.
So I think the average is actually 7.

The fact that they have 2 goaltenders and a folk hero on there speaks volumes to the lack of star power this franchise had through the years.

That said, Rick Martin would have easily replace Ray on my list. I would probably have LaFontaine over Miller. Andreychuk could replace him, but I think LaFontaine had more star power. Mogilny would be there in a heartbeat if not for the fact that he really wasn't here all that long.

That said, I don't find the list to be all that upsetting.

Not sure what this is suppose to prove, but for three straight years I watched Captain Canada go anywhere from 10-20 game stretches with 1-2 goals.

Seems like there won't be a big drop off then

I already told you where. It was a WGR interview with Andy Stricklin after the trade. Where he talked about Berglund being a good skater for a big man.

And I never said Berglund was a burner. I said his skating is good for a big guy.

Which was in response to you saying we got slower.

And Sobotka is absolutely a very good skater, and others who have watched him agreed with me that day
