Once they decide whether Tarasenko is playing with ROR or Schenn, I’d like to see them make a play for another top 6 LW though (If he stays with ROR).

I think Tarasenko will stay with Schenn and Schwartz. That line was just too good. ROR I think will play with Fabbri on the left side and Perron to the right. Could be Steen in Perron’s spot too because Perron and ROR are both playmakers. Thomas is rumored to make the club this year too. I know he is a rookie, but I like the Blues depth this season.

I don’t know. I see ROR with Tarasenko. Otherwise, why bother trading for him with Thomas on the way up? I know the transition to the NHL is never a sure thing, but Central Scouting has Thomas pegged as at least a 2C. Without ROR, the second line would still be serviceable with Fabbri-Bozak-Perron. I think the organization expects more out of ROR than that.

Bozak as a 2C?

Have fun with that. I think Fabbri will be a good fit on his wing tho

Well, I don't see Bowman making a trade for Panarin - the ask is probably far too rich for his liking - however I absolutely see Bowman bringing him back next season as a UFA...

I see Bowman going into the season with what he has presently.... I cant see Bowman giving up what it would take to get Panarin which would be one of Schmaltz or Debrincat and Anisimov and a First Round Pick at the very minimum.. However I am confident - actually certain - Bowman will sign Panarin as a UFA. Perhaps 7 years at 9.5 or 10 a season.

A top 6 of the following would be pretty damn lethal.. Every one of those guys has 30 goal potential.

Saad-Toews-Debricat
Panarin-Schmaltz-Kane

IMO, Bowman is setting the Hawks up to be a beast for the next decade, but a beast that stays out of "cap hell"... Of course the Hawks future defense is shaping up to be one of the most dynamic in the league in a few years.. The only thing the Hawks lack in their future D is a top 4 left handed defenseman -- all their defensive studs are right handed...

The only real issue the Hawks have long-term is the fact the don't have a legitimate #1 goalie prospect...

I see Bowman unemployed in the not so distant Bowman future......Bowman.

Since you don't mention the Leafs, I'm gonna assume they are definitely going to do something.

With Santini signed by the #Devils to a three year, $1,416,667 AAV contract, we now show the club with $18.2M in projected cap space with a roster of 22 (12F - 7D - 3G)

The club has 1 remaining RFA:
F Miles Wood

I have expressed a conspiracy theaory with NYR hockey
Done ? they never started , I believe Dolan will sell his sports interests soon
hence the reason no activity since last season when they dumped Stepon ,and never brought in the top center this team has sorely needed ,in fact they left cap $ on the table & wrote a letter clearly stating the plan .
Cant believe the fan base is sitting still & drinking the kool aid
they even blog about 2- 3 yrs in an era of worst to first is feasible & happens
this is a real quandry , hope its a ploy and they skim off the top talent they need .
Top D Karllson ? dont know why they havent bought him
top cneter ? I D K
top scorer ? I D K
I do know they have so much 2nd level talent playing a ton of talent in prospects & picks , which takes time ....
cant watch college level talent against the elites of NHL ... Crsby ? malkin vs Hayes & Zbad , cmon now .... L G R some day soon , get Dolan out & get a real progressive owner who hire top people & lets them work will watching integrity ,standards and a brand to build & win with .....

You have a promising GM in Gorton. Feel free to send him back to Boston if you're not satisfied.
