I still can't believe the Bruins traded Seguin and they have ZERO to show for from that trade on their current roster or even in their entire organization.

I thought the Joe Thornton trade by the Bruins was brutal, but the Seguin trade has to go down as the worst one in NHL history.........

I'd rather Séguin everyday of the week & Sundays. Tavares shouldn't have got more than 10, that's going to be an expensive contract in more ways than 1 moving forward.

Not sure what possibly makes Seguin so much superior to Tavares, except for the fact that Tavares is a Leaf.

Both are great players and probably fairly comparable. I think both you and the Leafs poster you responded to are incorrect. Neither is significantly better than the other.

I bet Seguin will just resign in Dallas. This is a whole lot of nothing until he isn't signed leading up the the TDL. Tavares was the anomaly, not the norm. We shouldn't just expect every big UFA to walk now because 1 did so. Although Karlsson probably will unless he's moved...

I can actually see that happening. Hall and Seguin together would be pretty devastating. Plus, it would be the perfect FU-Chiarelli line.

I might be wrong, but Séguin just seems to take over games unlike Tavares. No it's not because he's a Leaf, just rather have Séguin if that was the choice. Séguin always seems pretty dangerous against the Pens it seems, where Tavares not so much. Although in saying that, Séguin is probably more injury prone. I'd say he's going to stay in Dallas as well. (although New York...............)

A powerplay of Eichel, Seguin, and Skinner would be scary. A line with Hall and Seguin would also be scary. Not sure who'd play wit Seguin in New York, but please keep Seguin away from the Metro.

I think the preds made a great deal with Ellis on this pact. Trouba and winnipeg should pay attention; 6-6.25 a year for trouba over 8 is more than fair...

I would LOVE to see Seguin return to Boston. The team speed on the current roster is something Seguin didn't get to play with his first go around in Boston. Plus, now he can play center, something he greatly improved on given the chance in Dallas. A line of Debrusk-Seguin-Donato could be very dangerous if the kids take another step this season, which they should. Combine that line with the Marchand-Bergeron-Pastrnack line and that could be a Stanley Cup winning 1-2 punch. Seeing Seguin on the same powerplay line as David Pastrnack wold be must watch.
