casey
berglund
e-rod
dirty pod racer short term

and asplund, and davidsson in the near future

not sure strome is who I target

winger with upside or rd is where I would focus

Totally agree
Malone & O’Regan can be in the mix for bottom6 Centers as well

Sure, but Chia has pissed away most of his good wingers. I don't think they can afford to part with promising guys now that they're surprisingly thin

It seems the main question now is how long it takes for this team to gel. We'll find out if Eichel can be the leader and silence the whispers of his Prima Donna attitude. With the rumored source of locker room tension gone, will they become a tight knit group that will battle for each other? It'll take some time for the belief in themselves as a team to truly take root. Do you guys think Housley is the right coach for this team?

I'm definitely worried about Phil's soft spoken approach. Maybe it will work, now he has some talent to coach.

Wouldn't be surprised to see lindy hired to replace phil.
Probably make it thru this season

Agreed
Scandella shouldn’t be a problem at all
And i like him ok...
but with all the LH guys we have coming,
he’s expendable
And we should get a decent return for him
Maybe move him at the deadline?

With Okposo,
I keep projecting him on Jack’s line bc i wanna see his points back up as high as possible (keep him on PP1 too)
That way we should be able to move him next offseason
I’d like to see him get something like
25 goals, 55+ points
His contract still isn’t great,
but at that point i think we could get a 2nd for him

I believe his NMC let’s him choose 15 teams he won’t go to though

I think it’s impossible to say at this point
We should have a good idea after this season though

I think this is a transition year for us
Still a few guys we need to move out
And still a few big pieces we need to add

But i do think it’s FINALLY safe to say we are on the right track

I didn't get to see many Sabres games, but from the little I did see, he seems very passive, maybe even somewhat detached.

Phil's job is on the line this season. He doesn't care about padding Okposo's stats.

He & Botts should be working in tandem with a plan in place for what best for the entire organization

Not trying to be a Richard, but if they aren't/weren't doing that already, they both should be fired. I would wager that a coach and GM need to at the very least be on the same page.

He may be soft spoken to the media and in public, but I have heard multiple members of media and ex-players say he isn't so soft spoken behind closed doors.

I honestly thought she was already dead, and thought she was way older than 76. She looks like she's in her 50's in The Blues Brothers and that came out in 1980.

Apparently he yells a lot in the room. At least according to Hamilton, so make of that what you will.

Yeah, that’s what I’m saying
So if the plan is to try & trade someone,
be it Okposo or whoever,
I think they’d reasonably want to play that guy in situations that would up his value

Not something crazy like Larsson on PP1,
or anything like that
But i wouldn’t think that putting Okposo in a position where he can score points is all that crazy

Reinhart will buy his condo once he’s gone...for $200k below market value. Nelson will be his realtor obviously
