Finishing 28th and picking 6th.
Take that to the bank... - Makita
Top5 take it to the bank. This is not a better team than last year. We’re tanking boys, finally |

Can you post pics.
Never mind, you will probably be arrested as a perverted old man stalking a beautiful hot tennis star. - Makita
I was lucky. The cop on duty played on my ball team. Otherwise I’d be in shackles right now |

You're right he did use the word chisled.
He sure chiseled every last drop of that milkshake out of the glass.

Maybe Hutton's hamburger love will rub off on Giroux they both gain 50 pounds and are forced to retire - VANTEL
I think they'll just rub each other out. |

Very few rumors ever come true. Same as the Fabro and Krug rumor . Probably very little truth to either but fun to talk about - VANTEL
Canucks should retain 50% of Tanevs salary at the deadline and send him to Nash for Fabbro +3rd. Imagine their defence, Tanev and Hamhuis 3rd pair. |

I think it will be pretty hard soon to make trades. Teams realize the value of draft picks and young prospects on ELC

I like the keeper pool better . Get Nucker to run it again this year seeing Scooby is never here

Thats very true. But with that said drafts lately have been fairly stacked with talent. |

I think that is the way we need to go is through the draft. The game is changing. Canuck fans need to be patient.
I see comments like bringing back the same crappy D. I think by the end of the year OJ and Hughes will be a Canuck. We drafted Woo he needs time.
We have some good kids in the pipe but we have to wait.
The only way I see someone trading a guy like Fabro is if it does involve Jake. I am not sure the return value of Edler Tanev and Sutter anymore but I don't think it involves a first.

Not so sure, if the salary cap keeps going up. You certainly don't see the blockbuster trades like the 80's 90's and early 2000's but there's still some good ones.
Brayden Schenn for two firsts just a year ago. |

Yup, but maybe with Linden gone there wont be such a bond (cant think of the right word at the moment) with the players that it wont be an issue to trade them. |

You need really big names like Schenn ROR Hamilton.
You have to have an abundance of young talent . We are not there yet.

But you were just saying trades will be a thing of the past, in general terms, not for the Canucks.
Canucks are different, right now, as you say, they don't have anyone of significance to trade. |

I am saying that if people are expecting a first and a prospect for Tanev or Edler I think they will be disappointed. I think they would get a mid round second now .
Yes Canucks do not have trade value now unless it is Hughes Bo Brock EP . That would be stupid to trade them. The closest player with trade value is Jake right now .I am not suggesting trading him though |

I wouldn't be in a hurry to move them then.
I also don't have faith in JB's negotiating skills. |
