He hated hockey in Junior, because of his Dad. That’s why he didn’t achieve the great heights expected. His heart wasn’t in it. Nobody will succeed in the NHL if you don’t have it. Has nothing to do with rushing him, tho the injury may have been a result of being too under developed.

His dad used him as an atm machine and stole money from him. He destroyed his confidence by constantly calling him poop and he needs to get better etc etc He sought help from various sports psychologists but was never really able to get over his poop which prevented him from getting his game to a consistent NHL level. Skill was never an issue with him but his mind was fuqed.

Solid 4th liner and PK GUY. Not sure how much him and Brodziak played together in St. Louis. Would be nice if they had some chemistry or at least familiarity with each other. I can see him making the team.
