WE went from over valuing players to drastically undervaluing them. I want to go back to moving one of our top defensemen.

I was describing Van's fan base that exact way. One end of the spectrum straight to the other. Finding that middle ground is probably where the value of the players could be found.

Gaunce can't score but is good defensively. Has little experience. Fringe waiver player meaning he might or might not clear but either way unless he has improved, he's going to waivers.

To moving a defensemen, if it makes sense to the team short and long term. Those chances don't come around very often.

Call up the entire Utica Comets line up and see how well they do in the NHL. Van would be getting a crack at the next 3 1oa picks. Drafting no later then 4oa every year.

There has been very little middle ground when TDL hits . Most teams don't want what we are offering . It is more of missing the boat than over valuing

No need to name a new captain right away, why not have a season or two where it is rotated among players or just have a bunch of A's?

Seen this kid play 2 weeks ago Vasily Podkolzin very impressive, also Dylan Cozens who has some size and talent. Newhook Krebs or Turcotte all look like excellent selections

I have a feeling green slides EP on the wing, atleast until he can pack on some weight and get adjusted to the speed and skill and physicality of the NHL

That would make sense in a north sound game but his own speed & edge work & skill is where its at. Same goes for Hughes. Adding weight at what cost? Loss of quickness can happen.

He's an even better prospect than Boeser and Horvat were at the same age, he's much more likely to be playing in the top 6 + PP this year than being sent down in the AHL.
