All in all, the likelihood that this deal goes down is pretty slim. I imagine and friedman just created a buzz of hysteria for nothing.

I get that Don believes Friedman is just trolling Canuck fans, but I believe he is earnest in his “reporting”. If he is saying Canucks are interested I fully believe that someone from either Vancouver or Ottawa (staff member) is telling him so. Would you really be surprised if he was trying to acquire one of the best Dmen in the league to help compete for the playoffs right now?
