EP & BB both are shoot 1st but can pass.
Vanek for 1 example. Depends on linemates & dictates much of if either gets space or pass off to opened up teammates. Limitations when our D are not any good at jumping into the play & scoring. Tanev & Hamhuis were great at blowing open chances.

His timing is off. He either commits when he shouldn’t or hesitates and it’s to late. He had a long enough leash he should have been able to gain the confidence to jump at the right time. Management is giving him a shot again and I hope it works out for him.

This is a good read, thanks for posting. It's been a long road to compile this list of decent prospects after years of contending, they've done a good job of getting kids back into the system for a better future. Lets hope a few of these turn out to be good NHL'ers!

Hey....I've never disputed the Canucks have compiled a nice list of prospects, I've only complained, to no end, that they could've done more to acquire more kids through the draft.

That doesn't take away from the fact they've done a good job on the draft floor. Sure there were a few misses with the likes of Virtanen and maybe Juolevi, I still believe OJ is going to be a good NHL'er, but they've had some major breaks going for them by Pettersson and Hughes falling to them and they were smart enough to pick them.

Well, the truth is, Benning has collected some nice pieces, despite himself. Another high first round pick this year and things are starting to look a whole lot better.
