Can't wait for this summer to be over, you guys can't stop sucking off the Leafs fans at every opportunity.
Just choose one between Nylander/Marner! It's easy! Personally I'd go with Marner. Can't stand this "they're too good to just choose one so I'm gonna make my top 5 a top 6 because TOR is THAT good!"
You know who else has the same amount of goals as Nylander and more than Marner over the last two seasons? Sam Reinhart and yet he's not on anyone's list even though he's been playing on a poop team. He had 25 goals this year.
I've read all of these lists that you guys have put out this summer and they've all been horrible borderline cringey because of how transparent you are with your pandering lists. The fan rankings are honestly better.
These lists have been horrible all summer but Tanner, this one took the cake.
Rant over. - Berfaller
Of all players out there you choose.... Sam (frank)ing Reinhart? Seriously? The guy who hit 50 points for the first time last year?

In terms of total points: top 10 so far are
McDavid
Eichel
Marner
Rantanen
Aho
Barzal
Werenski
Hanifin
Konecny
Provorov
...methinks that Boston, while probably happy with Debrusk, is going to hate the way having 3 ast rounders worked out for them. |

imo, Nylaner's big standout moments actually came when he was playing C while AM was away.
Agree that Draisaitl seems to be more of a C. - mgriffen
Drop Rantanen to 5th and I agree 100%. |

Connor is often forgotten because the Jets have Laine and Ehlers but this kid is something special. He is definitely in the top 10. |

People underrate Nylander because of his hair and his beautiful (frank)in' eyes, but he really is as good as Marner and better at some things. That's what's so (frank)ing cool about it. |

Tanner labelled Marner a top 5 winger in the eastern conference, but now falls below Nylander and Pastrnak, and neither made the aforementioned top 5 eastern wingers. |

You almost have to ignore all statistical evidence to not put him in the top five. Consider that his PP scoring was cut in half, and he still matched his total output from the season before. That's minimum a point per game player, one who is consistently deployed against the best players in the NHL and has success 5v5, has the ability to play centre, and who's defense doesn't really matter since his team always gets more shot attempts, shots, scoring chances and goals while on the ice. - james_tanner1
Deployed against the best? but you said he was getting favorable match ups being the 4th option? |
