That sounds bonkers.

I had GTA on my 360, played it a ton, but I wish I waited and got it on One so I could’ve dug deeper into GTA Online. It’s just a fun game to dive into now and again, and it’s been years. But I guess that will carry over into Red Dead.

i just recently got into the online play. i'm eventually going to switch over to PC and try to get on the modded FiveM version. the RP there is amazing and they have a whitelist server if you do enough to get noticed in the community server.

i have an idea for a new character that i've been sitting on for a little while. once my crackhead perma dies i'll probably make a Reverend and try to get my own church. once i've got some clout i want to get involved in the arms trade and move weapons to fuel a gang war while using the church as a front. just to watch the city burn.

I’m probably the only fan on this board who disagrees that Sean Couturier is the most important player on this team. Sean Couturier is absolutely top 5 as far as two way players go in this league but I think there is a lot of give and take between G and Coots. However, the production Coots put up last season was his first time doing so. There is no guarantee he’ll do it again. In my opinion, the team goes as Giroux goes. Giroux is one of the very best faceoff men in the league. He’s an all situations player, where the Power Play Fuels through him. Giroux can also play all three forward positions. While I respect Couturier’s ability to free up space to allow his wingers to focus completely on offense and his ability to chip in as a first liner or a third liner, Giroux has been our best player the past six to eight seasons. Not just one season.

Coots and G fed off each other extremely well last year. Schenn best production always seemed to come when he played with Coots.
Coots had his best season ever playing as 1c. G had his best year ever, playing with Coots. Jake played half the year with Coots. Had his best year ever. TK played the rest of the year with Coots. Best year ever.
BTW, not all about Coots but the team now has three guys that scored 30 plus goals last year and 2 more with 24 and 1 with 20. One of the 24 had over 30 the 2 previous seasons.
Lots of offense.

Couturier is going to find himself back at 3C in 4 years. Yay or nay?

There is not enough controversy lately.

How did Voracek have his best year ever with Coots in the first half of last season if he was taken off the top line?

He was taken off the top line to spread the offense around -- a risky move, but one that worked in this case. The Flyers had been virtually a one-line team in terms of getting production. Konency didn't start scoring until he moved to the top line, Patrick was feeling his way through the first half (and had a concussion to deal with along the way). Simmonds had a huge first week of the season but then struggled. They needed to do something, and when nothing else seemed to be working, they moved Voracek to try to spark another line.

Since Konecny started scoring almost immediately after the switch, the top line really didn't skip a beat. However, it's worth noting that before the change, Couturier (who was benefiting from a lot of chances set up by Voracek as well as Giroux) had more goals than assists. After the change, his own goal pace slowed considerably but his assists picked way up because Konecny is more shooting-oriented than the pass-first Voracek.

I hope so. That would mean Patrick and Frost panned out.

Exactly. I still think, at least among the forwards, no one is more important than Coots. Always out there during the last minute of a game, plays in all situations and plays a ton, makes his linemates better and while not as good as Giroux he’s no slouch on faceoffs either. While the pp may run through Giroux (though I think Ghost is just as important), I don’t think the drop off would be immense if Patrick had to fill in for G in that spot.

The only guy that rivals Couturier for being the guy the Flyers can’t afford to lose is Provorov. I shudder to think how this D group would look without him.

Lehtera is roughly as important as my morning deuce, but Weise doesn’t rate nearly that high.

I didn't mind it when I started because there was always less BS to deal with (and I am a night person). It is the switching back and forth that makes you feel like Mordecai

Not sure who is more important honestly, but if either Giroux or Coots goes down for a lengthy period of time the playoffs probably aren't looking too good.

I hear you. I don't mind it. It's just...very different.

It's nice in the pharmacy though. Because during the day it's so hustle and bustle, even when it isn't "busy". Just the nature of the day and have 20 people working in a space together.

But for evenings and nights you have 6 then 4 people. Even when it's busy, it's quiet (other than the music which doesn't ever get played during the day). So much less stress hanging in the air. I dig so far.

My permashift will be 1500-0130 but they're having me train overnights 2100-0700 just in case someone calls out and I have to stay, etc
