I wouldn't be against Karlsson as he makes us a much better team. I don't want to sacrifice our top ranked prospects though.

I don't see anyway it happens. The only thing that makes it seem at all realistic is if Jim Benning my old drinking buddy sees that if he doesn't get this team to the playoffs in the next year or two he's a goner for sure, and he'll probably never get another GM job after that (non-Cup winning GMs rarely do), so what the hell and he coughs up the future for the present. It would be a big D, Disaster, but that's the only scenario I can see leading to such a deal.

It would be hyper-irresponsible and I actually don't think JB would do it just for his job, but to quote the line from a 1980s vancouver band's song, "You never know."
