This is taken slightly out of context. He is stating that a more aggressive forecheck will help create time and space for the D. That goes for all of the forewards not just the UFAs. You know, throw some hits, grind down the D, get a bit greasy in front of the net. This isn’t rocket science Belcher but I’m not surprised you require a few posters to spell it out for you. Have you considered soccer as alternative to hockey? It’s less complicated and not as violent.

If the pick was 2020 i'd think about it, provided EK extended. EK doesnt make us a playoff team yet but we would be out of the bottom 10 with him for sure. Considering that last year's 4th consisted of about 10 players it's hard answer that question.

I also think Beagles line, whether it is the 4th or third will get a lot of minutes.
I do think that Beagle and Schaller will score less than they did last year but expect Roussel to bounce back a bit.

I stand by my prediction that the Canucks will score less goals this year than last.
