Gaudette is already the 4th best center, potential and actually, behind only Sutter, horvat, peterson and possibly Gaunce.
Keep gaudette, send beagle down. - Pres.cup

If Gaudette makes the team it will be Horvat, Sutter, Beagle amd Gaudette down the middle. Baertschi, Boeser, Virtanen, Eriksson, Gagner, Rousel on the wings, with Petersson, Goldobin, Gaunce, Granlund, Schaller, Archibald, Boucher, Motte, Kero, Dahlen etc fighting for the final 2-3 roster spots. |

Which is what I said, a late season add for the Comets. Cassels is a "Career Minor Leaguer" who is playing pro hockey in Europe |

I said Gaunce and Granlund would be battling for their spot, nothing has changed IMO. The only way Goldobin makes the team is if he shows he can contribute at a second line level whil holding his own in the neutral and defensive zones. He will have to push Guys like Gagner, Virtanen, Eriksson down the lineup to make it. |

I liked the Lockwood pick a lot, it's a shame he's so injury prone. I thought he had Hansen-like upside if he developed well.
Not writing him off completely, but he's more of a wildcard long shot prospect now(Jasek/Palmu tier) since it's tough for a prospect to miss so much development time. |

The Stanley cup champs wanted Beagle back as well as ten other teams. But yes, he isn’t good enough to crack our roster lol. Christ some of you are stupid. Morning hate directed at 3 special posters |

I agree with Vantel, I don't think Green is a fan of Golodbin due to his play away from the puck.
Gaunce >>> Granlund
has like 40 pounds on Granlund too |

Some fans have a tough time fairly evaluating overpaid players. Guys like Beagle and Eriksson are still useful players. |

This goes for JV as well. TG needs to take a page out of Gallant's book and have all players work their asses off every shift. Absolutely no more coasting for Goldy and JV |

Yes, I don’t understand why it’s hard to separate the contract from the player. Beagle will be solid for two years and then an anchor most likely |

I am confident that Virtanen learned his lesson two seasons ago. I think he makes this team playing either 3rd or 4th line. Could see him playing with Gaudette on the 4th line. 8-10 min of 5v5 and a bit of PK time. |

The only problem is that if he wants to be taken seriously by the players, he has to be willing to scratch or even waive a player that would normally considered to be a "safe"
Vegas let Shipachyov walk and Gallant wasn't afraid to scratch a player like Tatar.
Is Green willing to do the same? will Benning let him? |

this is the harsh reality for a lot of prospects, unless you have actual high end skill, you're gonna have to adapt in the pros and learn to embrace being a role players. |

Not even a fair competition. If peterson plays center, who goes down?
Gaudette, sutter, horvat, beagle or Gaunce. Who sits in the bleachers as the number 5?
Bealge or gaudette? |

I don't know much on Goldy's background before pro but I did watch alot of JV when he played for the Hitmen.
His work ethic was always in question.

Gaudette will be the odd man out at first but when injuries hit hard he'll be a mainstay in the lineup. |

Brock Boeser did everything we could have hoped for in Da Beauty League.
Today's blog looks at the chances he'll be hit with a sophomore slump, and a few words on how summer league may have impacted his contract negotiations:

They are excellent 4th and 3rd liners. To bad we have like 12 other 4th lines on better contracts. |

I couldn't care if EK wants to play in Cananda or not. He wont be a Canuck anyways unless it is a three way deal where is traded to us and traded right away.
It is so unlikely to happen.
I wonder how Bo Brock and Pettersson would look as a line? - VANTEL
Yes but fun to think on lol
Only if our big 5 are not involved.
