From what I've seen of him this year, he does pass and shoot but I think he prefers to shoot, although he's made some sick passes to team mates. I think that is why people are advocating splitting him and Boeser up 5v5. - 93Nucks
Only for scoring balance & make it hard for ops match ups. Can put them together sometimes in game 5 v 5. |

Hopefully Pettersson can transition to center by the trade deadline and Gaudette has a good year in Utica so they can take over the top nine center spots with Horvat. That pushes Sutter out the door for what I hope is a 2nd round pick. - LeftCoaster
Ideally yes. If not then strong up the middle is a great way to break in kids on the wing to compete for spots. |

That would be the dream scenario. Sutter and one of Edler/ Tanev need to go at the TDL for picks. I’m already excited for the draft. Need to figure out what sign to bring and which executive to throw a latte at
Edit: I strongly leaning towards Dubas. - CanuckDon
Dubas has not really done anything yet. Signing JT was JT wanting in Toronto. Lots of contracts to sort out still & no move for a D yet. He can be in cap trouble awfully fast. |

Here's hoping Fabbro's team loses a heartbreaker in the NCAA finals and he's pulled back in for another year to win it all - NorthNuck
I like an earlier post Fabbro stays in college then signs with us as a UFA 😂😂👍 |

I liked the Lockwood pick a lot, it's a shame he's so injury prone. I thought he had Hansen-like upside if he developed well.
Not writing him off completely, but he's more of a wildcard long shot prospect now(Jasek/Palmu tier) since it's tough for a prospect to miss so much development time. - Nucker101
I’m really liking our prosoect wing depth. Tons of competition only helps us. Future assets for trading if they can excel as a group. Still drafting C’s & D’s are priority unless a winger says BPA. |

I agree with Vantel, I don't think Green is a fan of Golodbin due to his play away from the puck.
Gaunce >>> Granlund
has like 40 pounds on Granlund too - Nucker101
Goldobin & JV are very similar in that TG wants much more from them both. If not scoring there are all the small things to do. Take a page out of Burrows & Hansens book. To be top 6 you score & puck possession if not 3rd line it is & someone else guns for your spot. The clock is ticking more so on Goldy. |

Some fans have a tough time fairly evaluating overpaid players. Guys like Beagle and Eriksson are still useful players. - Nucker101
I agree but in LE’s case he needs to score 25+. Beagle just be himself & its fine. |

This goes for JV as well. TG needs to take a page out of Gallant's book and have all players work their asses off every shift. Absolutely no more coasting for Goldy and JV - Bakwas
Sedins gone & team just ratched up thr speed & yes its a must all 4 lines skate every shift. Rolling 4 lines is finally possible. |

Yes, I don’t understand why it’s hard to separate the contract from the player. Beagle will be solid for two years and then an anchor most likely - CanuckDon
Agree. We have cap space so its irrelevant & only giving quality shifts should matter. |

Ashton Sautner: “I had to prove that if I wasn’t going to put up numbers like I did in junior (51 WHL points with Edmonton in 2014-15) I had to bring something else.” #Canucks - LeftCoaster
Nice post thx.
Sautner has his poop together 👍 |

this is the harsh reality for a lot of prospects, unless you have actual high end skill, you're gonna have to adapt in the pros and learn to embrace being a role players. - Nucker101
That was TG’s MO coming out of Jr. That is how you impress a coach & gain his confidence. |

I don't know much on Goldy's background before pro but I did watch alot of JV when he played for the Hitmen.
His work ethic was always in question.

Reality smacked him in the face hard. He’s getting it so time will tell & he knows it. |
