Maybe... but the longer this drags on, the less leverage the Sens have. I live in Ottawa and if this is still hanging over their heads at training camp, it's going to be a disaster. - nucks_94

Pronman has been doing his own farm system rankings. Philly is at 12. I only saw from 12-3 and Van wasnt in there. Guessing Buffalo and Van are 1-2 |

I think the last time the drafting city traded their first round pick was Horvat Schneider - VANTEL
This is an interesting point. Does the team hosting the draft change whether they trade the pick? I think so. 2020 first, 2019 2nd, roster player and prospect |

As long as they don’t trade Gudbranson, Sutter or Gaunce I’m good. If you remove the foundation the whole thing will crumble. |

Sutter no longer deserves to be mocked(unless it's balls related).
He plays an important role for the youth with the minutes he plays, and the fact he's filly embraced the role is that much better.
I know the prevailing thought is that Beagle can play the same role, but until we actually see Beagle play as a Canuck, I'm withholding judgement on that claim.
We thought Gudbranson would play a Tanev type role, Eriksson would be a top 6 sniper for the youth to play with, etc. So Beagle being able to fill a similar role as Sutter without sucking is far from a lock either. |

They won't make the deal without getting a 2019 1st back is all I'm saying. We don't have one that we want to give up. - NorthNuck
I agree bud. 2020 1st maybe. Like i say so much depends on if Ryan is in the deal. |

I reserve the right to mock any player on the team depending on my mood and their most recent actions.
I for one do not think Beagle can play the same role. I don't think he is capable of what Sutter did for us last season. |

Flyers are deep in prospects only. I’m not impressed with the lack of elite talent like some ppl are. |

You don't think he's capable of putting up 20-30 points in a shut down role? Cus that's precisely what he's done the past 4 years...Sutter topped out at 34pts in his only full season |

You can reserve whatever rights you choose on any given day or hour, especially if your nonfat, skinny vanilla latte was made with whole milk.
I for one will wait until the guy actually plays a half season with the canucks before making a judgement one way or the other.
He played his role to perfection in Washington, and was a contributing factor with the team winning the cup. |

All true except for the part about sutters balls. His balls should have a statue outside of the arena. They are iconic Vancouver symbols |

Like I said, who predicted Eriksson would suck so bad here and who thought Gudbranson would look more like a 6/7 dman than a #4 dman when they were acquired?
It's dangerous to 100% assume that he can fill Sutter's shoes.

but at what cost?
the balls are simply too big, would probably have to take up a couple of blocks and at least 1 Starbucks would be part of the collateral damage |
