I found it interesting that 1 year ago Laaksonen (that's the best I could do) was drafted and nobody knew who he was. Now he is on this list. That's a positive sign for a scouting department.

He has some promise. The one game I saw him play he took two penalties and looked rattled. He is young and has some talent. Will be interesting to watch him develop.

It’s amazing how much better the farm system looks after one successful offseason. We’re in nice shape moving forward with three first round picks next year.

My “source” who has been right on a few things (Pegula’s wanting Kane out, O’Reilly definitely being traded) told me that the Pegula’s really, really want Khalil Mack FWIW.

I'm beginning to think I am "black-navy color blind". I have never thought the current jerseys look black, on TV or in person...unless the TV was in black and white, which I don't think I have seen them on in my life.

I know, but I have heard many people complain that they look black on TV. I have never had that problem.

I don't know anything about Thompson but that certainly is a very promising comment. I think he starts in Rochester (because he can be sent down) and gets top line minutes there. He is the 1st forward called up once the injuries start occurring.
