I listened to him do an interview 3 weeks ago and asked directly if they will make the playoffs? He hemmed and hawed and then said I don't know about this year , we are expecting next year.

So say what you want but I will believe what I heard and what I think is more realistic.

I think message received loud and clear by big Ben this off season. He will be a legit top 6 D this year. That left side is going to be crowded. Pouillot will need to play on the right if he is going to be a regular. I also think Tanev rebounds and has a career year, avoiding injury. Still not a great group, but they will be less terrible.

He said in an interview with imac after free agency thst their goal is to push for a playoff position, if things go right for them. You can look it up, or not, I don't really care. He has said the same thing every year, and he should, that's his job. Maybe we can read between the lines and figure he doesn't believe they are a playoff team yet, which they most likely aren't...

Not at all but as always there's a time and a place for it.

Drafting for needs is all fine and such but it's a timely process. Draftists think that cup champions are built solely through the draft for the most part when really drafting is only 30-40% of the overall puzzle.
