The beauty of working at a winery in the Okanagan is that you get a lot of NHL people coming through. The Oilers management and coaching staff dropped in for a barrel tour. I told them to keep up the good work. |

Did you ask them if you could sell them a vintage Loui? |

Of course, but I was pushing Tanev harder: “He’s subtle, but complex with an interesting mid palate but no finish.” |

I listened to the 1040 today . Their callers are a whole lot different than the 650 callers. Vintsy would be a 1040 caller and Nightie would be a 650 caller. - VANTEL
I'd call to ask if their refrigerator was running. |

If you leave him open long enough you might get some finish. |

Higgins had a good first season. Lapierre sucked from start to finish. |

The Flyers would like to add a defensive-minded forward, GM Ron Hextall told Dave Isaac of the Cherry Hill Courier-Post. However, at this time, he acknowledged that the addition would need to come in the form of a trade and not via free agency:
“I’m open to it, but it would probably be more of a lateral move on the market rather than a free agent. It would be a forward. We’d like to add a penalty-killing forward but to this point there’s been nothing there that’s made enough sense for us to move.”
Van has plenty of forwards that fit the bill for the Flyers. |

That reminds me of the time I ran into MacT in the airport. He came across as kind of a d!ck so I asked how he feels about destroying so many good young prospects. |

Higgins had similar numbers to Sutter . That is why I found it funny . They didn't like Sutter signing but liked Higgins

And they disappeared easily enough when they were no longer earning their contracts.
Which is why I’m not too concerned with the summer signings. The term is short enough and the cap hit small enough that they can either be traded or buried if needed.
It will probably be needed. |

We were adding pieces for a cup run, not a rebuild. Lapierre was great as a 4th line C, he just got pressed into a 3C role with Manny's injury and did OK. |

I don't like trading down but if it makes sense to the team. |
