whoa, whoa, whoa. take it easy scooby. the team wasn't good last year! that was because of mg leaving it in shambles. it was because orcalinni drafted virtanen. it was because linden signed erikson. it was bad because orcalini and linden got together for all the bad trades and insisted on giving away draft picks.

all the good picks and development is all the result of JB, brackett and ryan johnson.

Where they are today (good/great prospects and a good farm) is where they should have been a couple years ago, not today. I will agree that most are happy about where we are at now, but to call people out on complaining for it taking dramatically longer than it should have due to incompetency from management and ownership, well i think people/fans have a good reason to complain.

Ive yet to see this set in stone plan on how long a rebuild should take. As actual NHL GMs have said "there is no guarantees in tanking". So for fans to complain its taking too long and make claims the state of the franchise should be somewhere else at this point. Really pretty pointless.

I dont know how 1 or 2 2nd or 4th round picks would have sped up the rebuild. Development takes time.

We could go back and forth for 18 pages on what your idea vs my idea of a rebuild looks like. I give credit where its due, and boeser, hughes, Petterson, gaudette, and demko are worth that credit. I just dont think its fair to say that canuck fans are out of line for complaining about the process, when i think everyone in here can agree, no matter how you spin it, its been a very unorthodox way of "rebuilding"

Lol i saw a few people on twitter post it. Absolutely no idea if true or not. Either way, i would say the amount of true complainers on this forum who complain for the sake of complaining is small. I would also say the pom pom group consists of 1 or 2. Most here can take a level headed approach to hockeybuzz without falling into either category
