D...you're wrong as usual. There's no logical excuse for Jokiharju and Hillman not being the next Toews and Kane this season.

Yep!!!!!,good job Ryan Pace, just like he had some balls to trade up and snag possibly the Best QB for the next 10 years, unlike someone else that couldn't get it done or didn't have the balls to. Tkachuks kid would have been an absolute stud here had Bowman had a set and make an equally bold move instead of adding to his desk top smurf collection .
Most of the shine is off Dale Tallons work and now the team is left with a rusty beater given some of the moves or non moves in the last 2-3 years.
Hate to say it , but it looks like all the other Chicago sports teams GM's are blowing right past Bowman in popularity and aggressiveness, ......keeping the GM's seat warm for Chris Chelios ???

VEGAS (September 2, 2018) - The Vegas Golden Knights issued the following statement, today, September 2, regarding the suspension of Nate Schmidt :

"We were notified that the NHL has suspended Nate Schmidt for violating the terms of the NHL/NHLPA Performance Enhancing Substances Program. While we respect the NHL/NHLPA Performance Enhancing Substances Program and are committed to its success, we strongly disagree with the suspension. We firmly believe that the presence of a trace of the banned substance was accidental and unintentional. Based on our conversations with Nate, analysis from independent medical experts and sworn testimony from the parties involved, we believe it is clear Nate was not able to reasonably ascertain how the substance entered his body.

Nate is an honest person with high moral character and great integrity. We will stand by him and support him during this time."

Questioning this myself, he’s probably not even a Hawks fan who just comes here to get a rise out of people who actually are and know about the Hawks/hockey. I’m sick of reading his s*** and it says a lot about this site that he doesn’t have a lifetime ban yet.

To be fair you have 2 kinds of Cubs fans. You have the fans that are just like the Sox fans that get upset at their team for making stupid decisions or decisions based on money. Then you have the casual fan who lives near the ball park and it's the thing to do, a social gathering if you will at the same time a baseball game is happening.

Well, you are probably not far off, but sadly, and I think others will agree, all of that line up gets you is ......... very good shot at a lotto pick or even a shot at Jack Hughes, and ......probably come midseason a lot of empty seats at the United Center making Rocky and John extremely irate. NHL should default to players that are under contract right now and will be that way until they're officially moved to the AHL/ECHL, though the Hawks seem to be missing a couple like Hillman and Delia. It will be who is at camp, though, because they typically have all their guys with a contract there.
