I have concerns regarding Green, out of his element with NHL talent.

I don’t think either Horvat or Boeser had any aspirations to take over “top dawgs” last year. There were probably thrilled to learn how to become professional athletes from the Sedins.

The defense on the team will struggle greatly over the course of the year, yes maybe early successes but as games wear on so will the inept defense.

I agree with Sutter playing a better role this season, but that’s about it.

Just my opinion, responding to your comments, not saying you won’t be correct in your assessment. How’s that for a disclaimer

if there was an actual defense that could limit the number of grade A chances maybe the goaltending looks better.
Hutton loves to pinch up and get burned, Stecher loves to chase the puck in his own zone, Gudbranson needs 5 attempts to clear the puck out of his zone, and I could go on.

Yeah, it’s both. I don’t think this defense is holding back Markstrom from being a legit workhorse starter and I don’t think Marky’s holding back this defense from looking good

Oh yeah, it will be interesting watching how adjustments are made, and my fingers are crossed that my concerns are unfounded.
