Jim has been giving him high praise for a year now but the thing that gave me hope is when Renaud Lavoie said he has seen him play more than a few times and he looks like a top 4 guy

I read that post in the Leafs thread, I was getting verbally abused over there and Blueballs stepped up for me and the aardvark here had to cry that he got banned for no reason at all, never did a thing wrong. And then BAM I gave him a 2 week ban for no reason at all

I got excited too when Lavoie tweeted that, but this tweet gives me pause. Saying he has the “good qualities” out of 2 of the worst dmen I’ve seen on the Canucks does a good job of tempering expectations for me. If he can become a steady bottom pairing dman I’d be pretty happy.
