You take me way too serious...Edmonton should be battling Calgary and Vegas for 3rd in division, provided that Talbot has a bounce back year and Nurse becomes the beast on defense that I have thought he will be.
Also Draisaitl needs a better year, anchoring 2nd line at centre.

Agreed on all fronts, tho a Healthy Klefbom is a more important player than Nurse, IMO.

Yes it is a shame. Maybe when Seattle joins the league, it will be able too get them and of course WPG, too be part of this showcase.
- Reubenkincade

Seattle would work, you also need the ALB teams. Its a good way for smaller communities to see the NHL future. It's always been great, no rivalries, met lots of great people.

They can go down to the Vegas rookie faceoff.
- manvanfan

That doesn't help to promote the team in your own province though.

They did place Dobson❤, ahead of Boqvist.

EDM will be back in the PO's this season.

Van will be where EDM was last year.

Picking 10th.

I really like Heiskanen and would honestly give up oj and tanev for him.... although I remember adjusting with someone about it.....
- Pres.cup

I don't think he is that good. Better then most but I don't know if I would put him ahead of OJ. Maybe more offensive but his defence is bad.

So only Van gets to promote the team? Isn't that the reason why other teams left?

We have tons of people from ALB here, it's about logistics and sharing common fan bases locally. Alberta wanted to try it on their own this year but will have the same problem as Penticton with only two teams. Not much of a tournament for either province.

NHL.com has EP at #3 behind Dahlin and Svechnikov

Hughes #9

OJ #33

AG #50

My overrated from the bunch
#4 Heiskanen.
#12 Cody Glass
#27 Morgan Frost

Isn't Glass the pick that 95% of Canuck fans wanted over Pettersson?

Your new location is splendid. Only a fool who waives many, many pom poms would think the Canucks will finish higher then the Oilers. Some on here think we're moving up 10 spots so unless the Oilers don't improve .......

Give me 15 points and I'll take your bet.

Sharing I think is the key word. It essentially should be on a rotation between WPG, EDM, CGY, VAN. Keep everyone happy and all 4 teams participating every season.

There was a few real promotions by a few for Glass but time draft day came around I think it was closer to 60-40 for Glass over Pettersson. In here at least. I don't do any other sort of Canucks forums or twitter.

Perhaps if it wasn't always in Penticton, but rooted there? Maybe they do it in rural Alberta one year, Manitoba another, Washington State etc, but always coming back to Penticton every few years. That might keep more teams interested in participating?

Yeah, I don't know, I don't keep a book

I just remember the hype was for 1. Glass and then a couple other C's, Vilardi and Mittelstadt maybe?

Maybe you should.

Trying to make a new Pettersson avatar with his number, not sure what he'll wear though? Seems 14-40-41 are his three go-to numbers. Wonder which he'll choose?

Haven't been this excited about a Canucks prospect in a long long time

Who will you finish ahead of? Most people figure you’ll be dead last in the west.
