If TBL fall by the way side on the EK sweepstakes before seasons start i believe we become a legit option. Then EK in private says to Dorion he’s not resigning & is testing the UFA market. That makes a package of EK/BR even more difficult for the Sens to pull off & increases our odds. If we took on BR the price gets much cheaper & we jettison contracts. EK only & better yet.

Canucks are right there. Those teams all have the potential to outscore us. Not to mention goaltending and d. It's going to be a loooong year. Excited to watch the PP though, should be new and young.

I think this year only Don Myself Nightie Mr Chunk and Lord H are the only ones expecting a better year.

i think we'll be in the same range. there will be a lot of competition for that part of the ladder so the range could be quite wide with a few points the difference.

i think there will be some definite bright spots (brock, ep) and a lot of intrigue in lieu of the sedins.

what i'm hoping for is more skill, speed and grit from our forwards, more consistent team defense and a hell of a lot of compete but see us not being able to weather the bigger storms throughout the season.

if they try, and show some potential, i'll be happy. improvement vs draft position is a win win and benning just might keep his job too if it doesn't look too grim.
