What'd you think of the dustup between Vettel and Hamilton? It's tricky because of the chicane, Seb had the line and some understeer, Hamilton overcommitted and they collided in the first turn. A 5 second time penalty would've been irrelevent because he won by what? 18 something? And it wasn't worth anything more than that, but if that never happened I'm not sure they could've won anyway, those softs were rotten. The Ferraris are fast, but they're not an extra pit stop faster.
Max was busy being Max. He'd been quiet for months now, thinking maybe, ok he's growing up a bit. Nope. "I know I'm losing time to Vettel, but I don't care." How much money did those 2 points cost his team?

**it was turn 5 I believe. Raikkonen went back around Hamilton there the proper way on lap 2.
I don’t think Hamilton had room to pass him there. It was way too early. He could have just stayed right there and gotten vettel at the end of a straight soon thereafter if he was indeed faster. He actually put himself in a bad spot and got lucky vettel moved into him when he did and spun out. There really wasn’t any need to make that move right there, right then. I think Mercedes knows the ferraris are faster and Hamilton was making that move kind of in desperation, monza is a bad track to do so at because it requires a lot of straight line speed which Mercedes didn’t have, vettel would have gone right back around him pretty quickly. I think the red cars are faster at this point with their new spec-3 power. I think tire wear will determine a couple of these last races, the ferraris seem to be punishing their tires.
Verstappen is a punk, he’s on my poop list.

Yeah, I meant the first turn of the chicane. If that was a single turn, I'd like to see Hamilton get a 10 second stop and go, and no working on the car. But you wouldn't see that move on a single turn, but with the chicane out of position on the first means in position on the second. In traffic with no room for error and they both (frank)ed up, although I don't know if the Ferraris are dealing with understeer, there were a few times when he was coming up through the pack that he got out of shape on a couple of turns. Who knows.
Apparently Max defended the move even after he saw video of him clearly pushing Bottas off-track. Maybe he needs a race or two at Toro Rosso to wake him up.
I do so hate Hamilton though. He's such a phony. "I wouldn't be here if you didn't believe in me." Like he's some down on his luck rookie just scratching the surface instead of a 4 time champion. He's one of a group of guys(him, Vettel, Ricciardo, Alonso) that are the best in the business, assuming they get equal equipment. And he's acting like he's a guy that has to pay for his seat, and he sucks on top of it.

It’s an inherent problem with open wheeled racing, guys spin out and they’re (frank)ed for the whole race. Just pisses me off when that is the outcome so early in a race when it didn’t need to happen. I have never been a Hamilton fan. He’s a great driver but I don’t like his style. I’m not really a vettel fan, more just red and yellow. I hope the guys at maranello can get their heads out of their asses and give us a show for the rest of this year
1991 I Spent a long weekend in Saratoga with Peyote, Brown liquor, the horses and a Steely Dan concert. When it was all over I had nothing left but the clothes on my back, a pack of Winston’s, a Bic lighter, a tank of gas, and nine hours to be at my desk in downtown Rochester.
Back in those days I still didn’t know what mortality is.

Hahahaha
I like all of this. Hopefully I will have a few more hours to get to work than you did.
im liking this influx of intelligence. Almost like HB either hired someone to wipe out all of Grebe's accounts or just all the stupid people or both. I fear its just that they aren't trolling because there's nothing to troll about. - seedy
Well we actually have hockey starting in 2 days, I suspect we will find out pretty soon.

Seriously though, oloffsson should be on this team. - TheHank
Going into camp, what has Olofsson done to make you think he should be on this team? He's got a chance to make the team, but he has to beat out a bunch of guys ahead of him...to the extent that they waive players. It's a big hill to climb.
